"I like pets best it takes a month to 42 "

I like pets best it takes a month to 42 days for pets best to let you know if approve or denied for accident However what i dont like is if you had accident only policy and pet had a minor injury like a scratch or bite wound that could heal in like less than 2 weeks If you decide add illness how you know if they will cover any illness Then they say they can deny the illness say its preexisting but it depends on case I mean thats stupid so how do i know if any illness will be covered at all in future My cat is pretty healthy and vet says cat healed pretty good from scratch and you cant see it Also bite wound was gone I mean if you take action right away with accident a cat can heal if its so minor I dont understand if you want to add illness why do they say previous injury are not covered when covered under accident So basically if add illness its like you aint sure I swear if my cat in future ever gets sick and they dont cover I am go drop pets best and i will tell everyone about them If they approve then maybe ill tell people they are ok I mean accident they are good but illness im afraid It is a 14 day waiting period for illness I think my accident starts next day because i change my policy I really think if you update the policy to illness they should not count injury they cover against you if you add illness I mean they are get more money They should be happy about that and somehow be able update policy without cancel it

I like the company and the option to tailor make your policy However it seems that processing of claims is taking much longer than usual My last claims took two months to process and seven days after settling I have still not received my reimbursements

"Claim process"

Submitting the wellness claim was fast and easy Understanding the outcome of the claim was a little confusing Also not sure why when am checking claim it always leaves the app Do have to be patient for receiving payment as well if that is what the outcome is but knew that from reading so not as big of a deal

The timeline of claim was unclear for a long time I didn t have an update I was informed about a delay about 2-3 weeks of waiting the actual payout took another 2 weeks Other than that the process was quite easy

"slow payment"

Their coverage is good but the reimbursement time is slow and if you call them to get status on a claim all they say it could take 45 business days to finish claims then once the claim is finished it another 5 days before its in your bank but they know how to get your payment the day they need it

"Not as I expected when I signed up"

I wasn t expecting the preventative limits to be so low Bordetella allowed is only 8 That s pretty low The exam allowable limit is only 50 No one has exams for that I was just expecting something more considering the additional premium for the coverage It was my understanding that the coverage was 100 for preventative and 90 for the rest of the policy But now I see it s not that way I think of like to cancel the policy and go with a more expensive policy like trupanion that actually covers the total price of the invoice at the deductible rate advertised

I did not like the fact that it took almost a month to give me my claim reimbursement The plan packet is just not what I expected- covering meds supplements and certain tests exams I got 1 4 of what I paid I think the coverage is limited to what a lot of pets need

The company has very pleasant and patient call takers Unfortunately the methods of actually approving claims are ridiculous My dogs claim was entered over 3 months ago and PetsBest keeps claiming they didn t receive medical records when I myself as well as my vet sent them I m more than frustrated and angry and I m owed over 5 000 which I don t believe they want to pay Excuses excuses PetsBest needs to do a better job

Submitted my claims but it took a really long time I have another pet insurance company for my puppy and they only took 2 weeks to process and get my return back But unfortunately Pets Best took almost a month and a half for me to get my return and I m still waiting on the deposit to my account It s very easy to submit the claim and use the app but I just wish the return time was a little faster

Claims are frustrating and regularly get rejected Multiple images loaded but only one makes it through to the claim reviewer triggering a rejection Flea and tic protection is covered but the claim is rejected stating that it is not
