I had a negative experience with Poste Italiane at two stages 1 I am still waiting for an EXPRESS package from abroad which was sent on 14th February Via the national post service abroad Apparently Chronopost took over the parcel when it arrived to Italy but the post office cannot confirm this fact since they are unable to identify the tracking number 2 I tried to contact both Poste Italiane and Chronopost Customer Service Poste Italieane was unable to locate the parcel Chronopost chatbot was completely useless it kept repeating that my parcel has been delivered and tried to offer OTHER services Then the customer service on the phone directed me to the sender - who is a private person not a company Strangely when I presented the sender s reference number the conversation suddenly stopped Then in email I got the same response again package has been delivered and when I asked any kind of proof a document signature an address or anything the conversation in email again STOPPED There is no way to ask compensation they blame the sender for I do not know what reason P S I was AT home on the stated date and hour of delivery since I was waiting for my package Noone called me on the phone noone rang my doorbell nothing happened 150 EUR lost thanks to who knows who I strongly disrecommend the company
