If I could do a -10 I would I ordered a unit November 22 2020 I didn t receive the unit tell December 9th Not there problem due to COVID But I then received my order on December 9th with the out side unit completely banged up Called them as soon as I got the shipment informed them it was messed up Paid a repair guy to show up to see if he could make it work he tells me that he would have to hook it up to see Ecomfort tells me I can t hook it up and that the only option is they come back and pick up the unit and send me another one as soon as they get confirmation that the unit is pick up the earliest they could pick it up on December 11 2020 So if we would atleast wait 2-3 weeks for the new unit and pray nothing happens to the new unit So I am then out of heat for atleast another month in the middle of winter So I called to see what my options are because unfortunately I couldn t try to run any more baseboard heaters due to the fact that my electric bill for the month of November was well over 400 dollars due to the fact that I have a 6 month old child that needs the house to be atleast 60 degrees and some nights much colder So I asked them what can we do they gave me the option I just explained they gave me the option to keep the unit and they would give me 75 dollars for a 2000 dollar unit and take the risk I have never in my life wrote a review much less delt with a company so horrible in my life I have been a general contractor for 4 years overseen hundreds of projects and never felt the need to write a review on a company I am taking time out of my day to make this review so you all don t make the same mistake I have made Sorry for the long post and I hope you choose to work with another company and don t make the mistake I made

I m totally unsatisfied They re a joke
I m totally unsatisfiedOn nov 25 I placed an order for a snowblower of 1649 00 Snowblower was delivered on Dec 26 It came damaged I put a claim on the same day Snowblower was picked up on Dec 14 The new snowblower was delivered on Dec 31 damaged again I put a claim on Jan 2 to get the part delivered Today is Jan 16th still waiting on part This is very inconvenient to me as I had to make phone calls take time out of work to receive It take pictures send emails and it has snowed out I had to shovel a few times by hand And now I have to replace a part that I shouldn t have to do because I bought a new snowblower It s been almost 2 months since I placed the order I spent a lot of money on the snowblower I shouldn t have to go thru this twice with it On Friday 01 18 19 I called FedEx to track the part that they sent to me I gave to FedEx the tracking number that Power Direct Equipment provided me and the FedEx costumer service told me that they dont have the package with and only the label has been created I being waiting for it for more than 15 days they re incompetent company with a poor and unprofessional costumer service I do not recommend this company

I bought a Earthquake tow behind mower
I bought a Earthquake tow behind mower I was so excited about this mower When we got it started it up went to engage the mower and it didn t work My husband spent 2 hours fixing it so that it would work The bolt was never put it to the belt engagement arm the arm was laying in there loose Their customer service only want to give me 25 for all the work just to make the mower work And it makes me wonder what else is wrong if they missed such an important step I just told them to come pick it back up I feel they should have given more back for such an expensive piece of equipment which was 2300 00 After asking for the manager he only offered 50 That s not enough to hope that nothing else is wrong with that piece of equipment and the time it took to fix it The manger was not helpful and was rude in the end I will never buy anything else from this company or their sister company Mowers direct

TERRIBLE
I ordered a mini split system from power equipment direct The outdoor unit shipped in a reasonable amount of time But it has been nearly a month and I still do not have the indoor units This is holding up my install When I ordered the line sets from ecomfort no where on their site did it state that I needed a combined total of 49 feet of line set I found this out after I received the outdoor unit and installation manual Even their so called expert could not answer the question about how many ft combined total of line set I needed for the set up that I purchased I had to return one line set and purchase a longer one to meet the minimum required ft of line set I paid for the return shipping but ecomfort also charged me for return shipping although I had already paid the shipping myself what a kick in the teeth after already spending over 4000 00 for the AC unit The customer service people at this company do not know what they are selling and seem to be unable to answer question correctly about their products I still do not have the indoor units and no where on power equipment direct s website did it indicate they were on back order All I have to say is RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY I will never purchase another thing from power equipment direct ecomfort com is the same company so don t purchase from them either both terrible

They flat out lied to me
They flat out lied to me I paid 50 to have the pump overnighted by Fedex It was a day late I didn t think it was a big deal but my Fedex guy said they would refund the money since it was late However Since PED shipped it they would have to request the refund Fedex would send it to them and PED would refund me I called PED three times Each time they said Fedex would not refund the money and that Fedex was giving me the run-a-round and lying to me I talked to a supervisor at Fedex and she said to have PED call her and she would straighten them out PED said Fedex was lying and would not call Fedex They also would not allow me to talk to a supervisor I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN P S I am a lawyer and will sue them off the face of the earth

Terrible experience with Power
Terrible experience with Power equipment direct After spending over 4000 on a mini slit heat ac system I had to meet the delivery driver at a market away from my home as they shipped the unit on a semi truck which would not have a prayer of making it up my driveway this was aggravation 1 After receiving only part of the items I ordered I discovered that the mini split needed a minimum of 49 feet total of line set no where on the website was this mentioned So I had to contact Power equipment direct to do an exchange Now they are going to charge me after I have already spent well over 4000 to return the line set that is too short for the system aggravation 2 And Power Equipment direct also informed me that the indoor mini split units will not be shipped until a month after I have ordered them Aggravation 3 Buyer beware go somewhere else to purchase your equipment Nothing but aggravation from this company I plan on purchasing another mini split system for my home soon and I certainly WILL NOT be purchasing it from Power Equipment direct

I purchased a Quincy Air compressor
I purchased a Quincy Air compressor from Air Compressors Direct ACD aka Power Equipment Direct PED on 11 30 20 with a shipping date of 12 10 20 at the latest from the factory I contact ACD on 12 11 20 to find out the status of my order because they never sent me an update and they said Quincy was the holdup in shipment I waited till 12 14 20 and still no update I contacted ACD and they had no information I asked to talk with a supervisor and supervisor was in a meeting They would call me back that day No callback Called Quincy the manufacturer they said they have not received a purchase order from PED since 11 25 20 I called 12 15 20 and asked to speak with a supervisor Nope supervisor was in a meeting Asked for a callback No callback These people are scammers Stay away

This company seems to be formal
This company seems to be formal but when you return the goods they change their faces First you have to pay a 25 restocking fee and you have to pay a lot of freight which far exceeds the actual freight Even if the goods you buy have not been used at all What s even more exaggerated is that you can only refund half of the tax when you buy it Robbery

Seems to me they are scoundrels I ordered a 6 388 generator kit they decided to ship only part of the kit leaving out the base They decided to charge me the full amount of the kit and told me the base would be shipped 2 5 months later I told them they had not right to do that I cannot have a 400lb generator sitting around and I cannot do anything without the base cancel the order I am still waiting on the credit to my account and filed a dispute with the credit card company They were very fast to charge the full amount for a partial shipment Buy from someone else

Worst Company in the Universe
Never in my life have I tried to buy stuff from such an idiot company I ordered a natural gas tank-less water heater online No email response or other communication I figured since the charge was pending on our credit card all was well and we d get our heater Little did I know this place is run by melon heads Suddenly the pending charge on the credit card just disappeared as if to say We re here to help Here s you re money back We here at PED don t think you need hot water anyhow Finally broke down and called Requested an automated call back Never happened Their phone system must be attached to the non-sending email server On hold for over an hour listening to this Home Depot knockoff music Did they ship my item Why did the charge go away Did I even order from this company Am in floating around in another dimension Seriously Worst customer service in the universe
