Appalling service

Appalling service Was asked to pick a time alot so chose between midday and 3pm They turned up at 5pm Absolutely no point selecting a time slot and a waste of mu afternoon with plans cancelled DO NOT RECOMMEND

The couriers were very careful with the pieces of furniture but when it came to getting the table through the door to bring into the kitchen they attempted twice but were clearly not practiced at manoeuvring tables and refused to unscrew the base saying they had no time I am disabled and live alone and was left with a table in my porch blocking the front door which could not be closed or locked I had to get a handyman to come later that day to unscrew the base and reassemble The seller of the table said the table was got through their doorway which was 25 wide and mine is 30 Very disappointing service overall

Watching the delivery man swinging an 18th century kettle stand by one leg I only wish I had my mobile phone to capture a photograph no respect for people s property reluctant to ever use the again also noticed the 175 litre trunk had a crack in lid cant be absolutely sure if it was delivered like this

Antique delivery

A technical issue meant the delivery was late however the company did email to that which was good The delivery was clearly too heavy for the two men that brought it There was some damage to the table we don t know if this was in transit or bringing it into the house given the rip to the packaging clearly post collection As a result of the package being too heavy the two men despite their level best damaged my wall on entry The table perhaps might have been easier for them to move if the additional removable leaves were wrapped separately making it less cumbersome

Very disappointed

Really disappointed in the service I opened the door excited to receive new furniture to be greeted by silence I asked the crew to deliver into a certain room - still no response I then asked for them to remove packaging which they said wasn t their job fair enough but they reluctantly agreed Then one member of the crew glared at me and walked out saying this isn t his job leaving one member of the crew behind If the crew had simply said apologies but we don t have capacity to unpack them that would have been fine Instead I was made to feel really quite uncomfortable

Bad experience today

Ive had 2 deliveries using Proovia the first being excellent and now unfortunately this one When filling in the delivery form I made a note in the driver section that we had a guide dog however it appears that the delivery drivers had not read my note and panicked when they saw the guide dog Because of this they would not enter the house and only moved the very heavy pine table just inside the front door and left it with my retired blind mum

Chaotic final phase of delivery that featured garbled phone calls from someone lacking the English language skills to explain where they were or what help they required to complete the delivery Eventually we went out into the street to search for the delivery vehicle I provided detailed location instructions key landmark information and the name of the church that is adjacent to our property but the delivery people still got lost Thankfully the goods were undamaged but all a bit unnecessarily stressful for driver and customer

Very disappointing

Somehow it all went wrong when it came to the delivery First the courier turned up early on the day of the delivery without alerting us to the change of time then wouldn t wait for us That was frustrating as we d arranged our day to fit the delivery slot we d been given Then we had to re-arrange the delivery for another day I was told we d be given top priority Then we got a message on the day of the delivery saying he was running early and would arrive about an hour before the slot we were given 13 51 - 16 51 Then nothing from Proovia and then he didn t arrive until 4-4 30pm So altogether two days spent hanging around quite unnecessarily I wouldn t recommend They also weren t the cheapest option
