Very poor experience

Delivery of 5 items including a large dressing table and 2 large chests of drawers The initial collection delivery was re-arranged by the company on the afternoon collection was due Despite a 2 man delivery crew the dressing table was upended and carried by one man putting it down by resting it on 2 end legs to drop it down on all 4 legs The chests were dragged across the hallway floor by one of the crew rather than waiting for the second crew member to help carry them This has left scuff marks on the hallway floor The delivery drivers were uncommunicative and unfriendly Under no circumstances would I recommend this company

Was delivered on time and I was kept up to date but upon delivery the courier gave my staff some attitude which was unwelcome behaviour This is not acceptable

Broken items second time in a row

This is the second time this company was used to send a glass neon in both shipments they were broken the thing is on the second time it had different layes of protection and you could see that the glued points broke off that means subject to enormous swings throws Would not recommend this company for fragile items

The item was delivered damaged having been dragged on the floor - totally unacceptable Dealing with the company was not straight forward and little concern about the matter I couldn t recommend using this company again

The pick up van had no ramp it s a

The pick up van had no ramp it s a motorbike I wanted to inspect it s condition on arrival then pay the driver cash or card I explained this and it just didn t get any other response than just pay It was like dealing with a dis interested cash register Once I had paid took over 24 hrs to get a receipt You are more interested in just getting the money You will never hear from me again Roger D

Proovia damaged an item of furniture and didn t pay my claim for damages

Proovia Couriers damaged an immaculately restored mid century table whilst trying to fit it in my customer s house The table was returned to me by Proovia at my expense because the customer had measured incorrectly and it could not be delivered Proovia advised they would pay 50 of my claim for damages however weeks later this still hasn t been paid to me nor is Proovia replying to any of my emails either It s bad enough that they haven t paid the money but to not reply to customers either is appalling Meanwhile I m left with a table which is damaged in a prominent place and requires repair which I am capable of however there is a cost attached to the repair and a loss in value to the table Why on earth would anybody use a courier that damages items doesn t pay out in the event of a claim and doesn t respond to messages either

Terrible

First attempt Had to take time off work to accept delivery Courier didn t arrive Second attempt Had to take time off work again did arrive not when tracking said they would half the delivery is missing the bit I did receive is damaged Still waiting for the remaining bits Ps don t trust their live tracking it s useless

Couriers pressured me for extra money in my own home

Upon discovering that the large heavy item would not fit through the doorframe of the designated room or any room outside of the hallway they repeatedly tried demanding money from me for their attempts It was a very uncomfortable situation being pressured by 2 blokes for money in your own home After I declined their demands they then put the item down in the hallway and walked out The item is too heavy for me to lift alone and it now blocks my entire hallway No advice or discussion as to what to do and a terrible and threatening customers experience

Apparently they don t knock on the door

Arranged to be at home for the three hour time slot allocated for delivery The courier did not knock on the door but called my phone which was on vibrate so I didn t hear it then left I can t actually confirm he was at my property at all When returning the missed calls 4 having noticed three minutes after the last call the driver had a poor grasp of English and told me it was my fault for not answering my phone and he couldn t come back He then called me back to say he could only come back if I paid for the diesel This was a free delivery item Whilst the customer service team were sympathetic they were not able to confirm delivery completion that day and overall the service was an utter failure I will write another review when my furniture is delivered
