Andrea Bailey was very knowledgeable but the Purple Bricks approach of virtual conversations without even viewing the property physically or virtually seemed impersonal and demonstrated minimum commitment to the customer And since then I have received at least 6 requests for feedback including one or two about a property I don t know about So no thanks

Can t get through on the phone without waiting at least 20 mins

Front end agent was decent knowlegable Currently two properties on sale with this lot not had a single offer on either The sales part of it in my view is poor no one chasing up sellers they just send them an email asking for feedback You have a sales agent assigned who never contacts you you have to ring them the only advice they gave me was reduce the price Thanks for that there not based local no nothing about the market one of the properties is the cheapest in the area by 20k already and was priced for a quick sale Probably wasted 1400 with these lot other than listing your property they do absoutly nothing to sell it I cant see anything they do that you can t do yourself Be going back to a traditional estate agents next time regret using these lot

I would not recommend Purple Bricks - it took 15 mins to arrange to view a property where I had to set up an account just to view the house We put an offer in on the house and it has been taken off the market as sold - I m assuming this is sold to someone else as we ve heard nothing from the offer

Hard to get viewings confirmed 4 phone calls 2 emails to get 1 viewing - and if you re a lucky buyer you have to pay extra for your own money laundering check Best avoided if you re a seller as they don t make it that easy or simple for potential buyers Cheap I guess

Agent was nice friendly and polite Arrived on time Wasn t struck on the different packages and felt like once I d paid for my package the bare minimum would be done You ve got the money so doesn t affect whether my house sells or not Other agencies are pay up on completion so will do all they can to sell my house So not free like they advertise Nothing in life is free so shouldn t advertise as free Seems like they want alot of money to not do much Depending on package I d still have to do viewings or photos etc Complete package they do photos and viewings but it s paid up front so wouldn t be sure as to how much they d push my house to sell Also completely different outlook on my house Said about a new bathroom bathroom is fine Yes kitchen could do with being replaced but I don t have the money and other agents have said no carpet isn t an issue whereas Purplebricks agent said carpet would be better although did understand my situation Valuation was similar to that of a second agent I saw so that was good But overall my gut feeling was alot of money upfront and not sure how much they d actually do or what I d end up having to do Already a stressful and emotional time and I dont need the extra stress so have decided to go with another agent that has an office and will do absolutely everything Make sure you research before deciding And I don t just mean research Purplebricks Research and speak to other estate agents too Compare prices and what they offer before you make your decision

Slow I ended up luckily being able to speak with the seller directly to organise viewings and ask questions Hopefully it won t be as slow for the next phase of actual purchase and moving in

We made an offer the seller messaged to say they d had another offer and that someone from Purple Bricks would be in touch We assumed this was to negotiate between the 2 potential buyers for a higher offer We did not receive a call and so put a higher offer in at which point the seller said they had already accepted the other offer Not a great experience

Apart from being able to advertise on Rightmove and stick a For Sale board in your garden they are absolutely useless I ve just completed on my property at lunchtime today and I dont think Purple Bricks even know I ve sold There is no contact from them Every time you chase or ring its a different person on the other end of the phone I paid for assisted viewing and I was placed with a Sales Advisor who lived 20 miles away and didnt know the area After a few weeks I was moved to another Sales Advisor who lived 20 miles in the opposite direction who didn t know the area and re-arranged viewing twice without telling me and then the prospective buyers didn t show up There was no effort put in to finding any buyers Then another few weeks later I was moved back to the original Sales Advisor A Key Safe was put on the wall of my property without telling me and when I complained I got nowhere I paid 1600 but I wish Id paid extra for a decent estate agent My house did sell - but that was due to the price location and upkeep of the property and nothing at all to do with Purple Bricks Stick with a decent estate agent who will be with you all the way through Even my buyers said they couldnt get any responses from Purple Bricks and they were very bad to deal with

Booked an appointment for a valuation on 17 March 24 at 15 00 rushed around only for them not to turn up Contacted the agent on the confirmation screen in the app and went through to VM Half expected an apology call on Monday morning but nothing Contacted the chat bot that stated they had no appointments booked on system Rescheduled for this Thursday and contacted the main number today to ask if someone could confirm that they will be showing up Was advised that both appointments are showing and the manager would call me today to advise It s now 21 53 and no phone call If they don t show up on Thursday I ll be bombarding social media with my thoughts Really isn t a way to treat potential customers Appalling customer service so far
