They don t even pretend to care
I have been a TurboTax customer for years and I ve seen a steady decline in both their customer service for the past three years 1 Try calling them Not about tax related items but other items related to your account 5am-5pm pacific time Monday-Friday except for a bazillion holidays 2 Try to remove your credit card information from their site You can t Customer service cannot either 3 Try requesting your credit card information to be removed via their data privacy program Again you can t The only way to get the credit card deleted is to delete your entire account

Worst customer service ever
QuickBooks customer service is terrible We have used QB for payroll for many years They have always drafted and paid our federal taxes on time up until the last two payroll runs They paid the last two late and we have incurred almost 9000 in penalties I have called QB and spent many hours on the phone over the past few weeks I m told that they are working on it and some will call me I never received a call It s impossible to talk to someone that can actually help

Astonishing decline in service at Quickbooks
The decline in service at Quickbooks is really puzzling I have been using Quickbooks for about 10 years - and all of a sudden they send me an email to say that my renewal will be subject to a 20 VAT There is no reason for this I do not live in a jurisdiction with a 20 VAT And no one - despite hours on the chatline with reps who are woefully trained and a massive waste of time - can explain or help They just talk rubbish and attempt to deflect with irrelevant requests for information Then they offer to escalate but there appears to be no one on the other end of this activity The one customer service person who eventually emailed me answered the wrong question which is in itself astonishing This might all be quite funny if it wasn t so sad Anyway I ve cancelled and now have to spend my holidays looking for a new platform Thank you Quickbooks Hope your Christmas is merry

HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE We re a mid-sized marketing agency that has been using QB enterprise for 18 years Our transition to QB online has been horrible The data transfer was anything but seamless There was no customer service support to help us through it We finally ended up archiving most of our old data and starting over Now we re finally set up 6 months late but the time tracking function is not working Jobs that are in system are not showing up for our employees to enter their time QB s answer to us It s a known problem and we re working on it How do I run my business in the meantime NetSuite here we come

QuickBooks lack of service
QuickBooks worked great until it didn t I accepted payments online through Quickbooks just long enough to build my trust Now a payment is under review and I am told it won t be released for 5-7 days with absolutely no reason given They won t even cancel the payment so my customer can use another source Sadly I recommended that my customer use their service to pay us Now our workers don t get paid right before Christmas because there is no human support available Judging from the reviews I don t expect any concern on their part

Could the Phone Reps be any more useless
I only have to call twice a year and each time I get the most inept people on the phone My husband even jokes that it is my waste a whole day on the phone with Quickbooks day And each person I speak to gives me completely different information Normally I just call back until I can find a phone rep that has an inkling of what they are doing After 30 years in using Quickbooks I am done It has finally become unbearable

Customer service has gone from amazing to the worst I m not sure when they started outsourcing but would be nice to speak with an American Can t understand many of the agents Or they can t understand me and ask the same questions like 5 times in a row It s so frustrating

I used Quickbooks Live Bookkeeper to do all of my bookkeeping I have a small business and I needed someone to take care of the accounting while I was taking a class to learn how to do it myself When I looked over what they d done the work was super sloppy with lots of loose ends and journal entries that made no sense When I reached out to Intuit to complain all they suggested was talk to the bookkeeper A HUGE waste of money Save yourself the time money and irritation by hiring an outside bookkeeper

Online features are worthless as compared to the functionality of desktop Customer service is incompetent and non-existent Viewpoint is the best accounting software for any size business QB is the perfect example of you get what you pay for In this case trash
