70 comission for a 100 ticket

Paid 170 for a ticket from Osaka to Tokyo which price at the station and also stated in the ticket was 100 Thinking about starting my own online train ticket agency now as I can see the profits they can get out of people who do not know the original pricing in foreign countries I guess I need to mention that service was good and fast besides the issue of paying 70 extra

Big difference

The online experience was fine They were actually very prompt in responding to questions although inflexible on any refunds In looking at booking with Ninja versus direct with the train company I believe I paid about 235 for a business class ticket I could have purchased directly for 150 I figured that out right after I made the purchase and was even going to cancel for part of my money but they would provide no refund of any kind Shame on me for going with the first sponsored source on Google Should have done my research

Customer service by chat was efficient

Customer service by chat was efficient and my questions were answered That said it is misleading to sell a ticket at a low price only to be advised the following day to pay an additional 50 per ticket for a later departure or I would be refunded the 75 per ticket already paid I contacted customer service for the refund because I was going to start over and buy tickets for the later departure still showing 75 I was informed by the agent that I would again be notified the following day to pay the additional amount If Rail Ninja knows the fare is higher they should not lure customers in with a low price when they know it is wrong It s a significant difference not just a few dollars This is a poor business practice in my opinion

Easy to use shame it seems they have system glitches

Like how easy it is to use to find tickets Pre booked some return tickets when they became available one leg was a lot more expensive so cancelled it to find alternatives unfortunately as we had booked a return it cancelled the other leg as well Annoyingly I managed to re book the tickets using rail ninja at the same original price No clue what was going on there then but a lot of hassle for nothing in my opinion

Seats were not what we chose

The booking process was fine However we chose seats facing each other Once on the train they were next to each other Motion sickness is an issue for one of us So traveling backwards the entire way was excruciating

The price difference between KTX tickets and ordered ones using Rail Ninja

The price difference between the real KTX train ticket from Seoul to Pohang and back is enormous The KTX tickets first class were 150 000 Won whereas Rail Ninja charged me 277 000 Won What is the reason for this difference

Communication to customer

When searching for a round trip ticket the system could not find the second half of the trip because trains apparently do not run in Norway on Sunday A helpful message to change the dates of travel would be good Also not sure why my invoice receipt and booked tickets need to be in separate emails I think it would be better to acknowledge the sale and then once the tickets are booked send all documents

It was hard to be able to by my ticket There is yet no place reservation from Oslo to G teborg I am coming from Finland and my Swedish knowledge is only a basic one I had to try to by the ticket several times until at least the train ticket is in order but without place researvation

First of all I book a trip from Belfast to Dublin and take my money and then a day later you said u had to cancel the trip but I can book a bus ride so I did You claimed I was placed on the bus reservation and then I find out you canceled my reservation bc I didn t respond to your email which I certainly did Now I am trying to contact them with no luck
