Shocking service Told me it would be 20-60 mins but ended up close to 4 hours Constantly ignored my calls once the deposit was paid I d advise you to look elsewhere before using Road Mate Bag of

Called Road Mate on a Saturday evening to help with a flat tyre They were helpful enough on the phone and I paid 100 00 for them to get somebody to me within an hour It took over an hour and ended up being somebody from a different company Mobile Tyre Hub who fitted a tyre and charged me another 240 00 Turns out the wrong tyre was fitted which was too big and the wrong profile Car has now failed the MOT and I have had to pay for another tyre to get a pass I called Road Mate but they were abrupt and unhelpful telling me to take it up with the people the actually fitted the tyre They didn t even want to know which company had let me down I am now dealing with Mobile Tyre Hub to see what they do

Paid 260 to have my son s tyre changed as he was miles from home and the RAC would only take him to the nearest garage I had every confidence that it would be done to a high standard as the gentleman on the phone was very helpful They were super quick but it was a different company that turned up to change the tyre 50 miles down the road believe it or not he has a flat tyre Either my son is the unluckiest guy in the world or that tyre was dodgy to start with or broken when it was put on I d avoid this company if you actually want to get home

Phoned for replacement tyre 12 45pm Quote given by them and price I was informed there would be a 30-60 minute arrival 1 5 hours later no reply I rang them and they said that they will contact the driver 1 hour later still no contact I rang them again They said that they will get the driver to ring me Message sent by the company attending Rang them and they relayed that road mate hadn t confirmed the call out so their 2 drivers had gone out to other calls Asked them to let me know when a driver was on his way Driver arrived 5 45pm At the least I would have expected them to keep me updated Would not recommend this company It seems as soon as they have your initial deposit they are not interested Very interested to read about the other good reviews- how can a service vary so much

AVOID THIS COMPANY Cost 210 for a basic new tyre that took 3 hrs to be fitted Took 60 fee to book the relevant new tyre in informed me that it would be 1 - 1 25hrs this turned into 2hrs then 2 5 and then 3 hrs Very rude man on the phone who put the phone down on me when I was ringing to check what was going on Unprofessional poor communication and a nasty and rude man taking their calls

Amazing speedy response to flat tyre was friendly and convenient Fitter broke a wheel nut when re attaching and apologised advising me to pick one up at Halfords I did get the replacement but had to pay for the broken bit to be drilled out which stripped the thread and led to a replacement part 2 days without a car and 500 invoice Flagged this to Road Mate and was called by an angry man who called me a stupid woman for being ripped off as he could have drilled out the nut in 10 mins Which begs the question why this want offered to me as the solution I m paying the 500 rather than deal with such a rude and aggressive man via a company who provide written guarantees

Called 5pm their website says 45-60 minutes They didn t arrive until 9 45pm I actually thought it was a scam When the driver finally turned up 4 hours and 45 minutes later he said he had only just been given the job and was 40 minutes away Call centre kept giving loads of excuses none of which were true They had an argument with the driver about whose responsibility it was to phone me while I was on the phone to them I would only use a local company with whom I had direct contact with next time

Very poor service Very soft spoken till you pay the money The moment the transaction is done their response changes Get prepared to be treated rudely I ll feel I m been cheated and treated unfair I would have not even given them a star but the website is not allowing me to do that

Guy on the phone was an absolute joke I asked about issuing paper invoices for inshurance purposes he told me No literally that s all ge said and put the phone down they were quick enough to take nearly 300 of my dad though very rude and unprofessional no need for the attitude

Called at 11am on a Sunday admittedly and a very friendly helpful lady arranged for a fitter to be with me by 1 00pm After several follow up calls he arrived at 2 30pm He then attempted to fit the tyre with great difficulty At this point I noticed his van was overheating so he had to turn it off Several phone calls later and apparently another van was on its way The fitter continued to attempt to fit what he called the cheap Chinese tyre of which I had no say in what I was going to get The other van called me to say he was on the A303 but stuck in a traffic accident and didn t know when he could get to me By 4 30pm the original fitter had managed to fit the tyre and we were able to head for home Prior to this the manager had called me in order to pay the bill which was 300 00 he also informed me it was a very good tyre and that the fitter didn t know the knack of fitting them I was quoted this initially but was keen to get out of a difficult situation so agreed By the time I arrived home I then received calls from the second van asking where I was despite telling the manager he would need to inform the driver So 300 for a cheap tyre 70 on eBay and a 5 5 hour wait Really not good enough and nothing in the way of a discount or even an apology
