Royal Mail are hit miss The most irritating scenario is when you sit in all day to eventually receive delivery attempted but inaccessible I ve had this nonsense twice totally untrue When challenged Royal Mail admit that this can mean anything Weather conditions road closures no staff it goes on Be truthful Royal Mail when you can t meet your delivery promise I spent forever trying to fathom why my house was inaccessible when you ve found it for 39 Years

Awful service at soaring fat-cat-fattening prices
Despite the obscene rise in Royal Mail postage charges since the company was privatised the service seems to get worse and worse I sent four expensive Christmas cards on 16 Dec 2023 and they still haven t been delivered on 12 Jan 2024 Royal Mail s own web site said that 18 December was the last safe date for sending 2nd class mail to arrive by Christmas

We are a company and have had letters returned as underpaid when the correct postage was used Customer services were very rude and no offer of help we were accused of lying despite both the post office and Royal Mail sorting office both confirming all postage was correct We have decided to stop supporting Royal Mail and we now send all documents electronically This amounts to almost 100 a month that will no longer be being paid

DONOT use redirect to local post office The local post office Stapenhill refused parcels because they had not enough storage Instead of returning to depot and trying again another day they return to sender as refused by customer This places you in a difficult position the sellor sent the item correctly so not their fault Royal Mail DO NOT offer deliver to a service point and then return to sender Take money and then poor service PS 40mins then 90 mins on phone to actually talk to anyone Perhaps Amazon should take over

Paid for Royal Mail Signed delivery for a very important letter 3 weeks later still no signature online Went to the Post Office and was told Oh they dont always post updates for these you should have paid an extra 5 and that might have provided updates How are these criminals still in business hope they don t throw me in jail for that

Nevermind there first post box be brilliant if they trained Chinese to talk to you properly Chinese fellow hanging off my door bell Spoke to me like something you scrape off your shoe seem to be getting later also no tracking at Altrincham branch required anymore so recap what am I paying for Deliver when ever they want still waiting on parcel not turned up after three days sent 1st class it s like the wild west if I could give lower stars I would but can t go lower incredible that a company do sloppy can carry on and I pay for this service

How about this for poor service sent a mobile phone to a reseller on Friday 15th March using a 48 hour pre paid envelope where Royal Mail only aim to deliver within 2-3 days It arrived at their hub on Saturday 16th March and this useless company delivered it on Wednesday 27th March You couldn t make it up it s a third world business trying to compete don t use them

Paid for special delivery to send urgent documents for delivery by 9am next day Not arrived by 9pm so tried tracking to find documents hadn t left post office where I paid the 9 to send them yesterday No idea when they ll leave and can t claim as Royal Mail require the late delivery date on their claim form and we don t know when that might be What a sad country we ve become The directors who have run the company into the ground taking fat salaries and bonuses will walk away with big pay offs when this ruined company is flogged to a Czech billionaire So sad Britain has been so badly run into the ground for so long now
