It is a pleasure to do my grocery shopping on line with Sainsbury s There is good choice of products and the search facility works well Sainsbury s needs to keep on being competitive with prices However some of the Nectar Card Prices represent excellent savings

Fair on line shopping

Generally I am pleased with my Sainsbury shop However there have been a few occasion where I haven t ticked the no substitution box and the items chosen have been extremely unsuitable e g O Guinness was substituted with Guinness containing alcohol I would have thought this would have a common sense or in this case lack of common sense I ordered a mild Curry and it was substituted with a very hot dish which was not suitable I wish Sainsbury would provide training around what is a sensible substitution

Online is easy to use Love the favourites no looking for items regularly ordered Great selection Cannot thank your delivery personnel enough Always helpful delivered with a smile

The online service is great delivery drivers are polite friendly and helpful The substitute option is excellent and any problems are dealt with quickly My only quibble is the search facility on the ordering page is not very good

Their food is usually good quality their home delivery is good and slots are not too expensive Picking substitutes could do with a little bit more experience if you choose a dry white wine you normally wouldn t be happy with a medium dry The connect to Nectar points is a nightmare It worked well for several years and then suddenly I was no longer connected Have followed all the online FAQs but still can t get connection at checkout

I like Sainsburys for my online

I like Sainsburys for my online groceries but they don t stock everything I need My order comes from a smaller central store rather than a large Supermarket so I have Sainsbury s one week then Morrisons the next and alternate Shame really I would have preferred to just shop with Sainsbury s

Reliable deliveries but could Sainsburys make sure that delicate items are put at the top of the delivery crates please

We ve been having Sainsburys deliveries for many years They are reliable and the delivery people are pleasant and helpful I d normally have given a 5 star rating but recently I ve noticed that some delicate items eg the gorgeous Sainsburys chocolate eclairs have been packed at the bottom of the crate with the heavy items on top so they ve got squashed Otherwise we re very happy shopping online with Sainsburys

Home delivery system now working well

The home delivery system seems to be working well The pound a week fee keeps people more or less regular users without causing great waste It used to be very difficult to cancel the regular monthly deductions as Sainsburys does not accept email I have in the past paid for three months without using home delivery till finally I cancelled my card at the bank

On time deliveries good items but stocks low on some everyday items

Shopped with Sainsburys having deliveries sent to my home delivery van always prompt and very kind and caring delivery chaps However just lately getting a little fed up with seeing goods on line adding to my basket and finding out goods not available Six or seven times to get some Greek yoghurt last night Quality of goods is reasonable and the Finest range is very good but like others prices rise each week not so good Home delivery charges have risen and this is a real blow making me now thinking of going elsewhere to do my shopping all these little things count

Useful Delivery With Helpful Driver

The delivery was on time and the driver was helpful assisting me to unpack items from the crates into my shopping bags There were 4 substitutes and one non deliverable item I returned one of the substitutes I understand that everything cannot always be available and some of the substitutes are fine The items I received were good quality and in good condition
