Disabled residents stuck for two months

Lift broke in January New motor required Three week lead time Motor arrived it was decided some other bit was needed Three more weeks Guess what no good lift still not fixed No sensible feedback on the way forward So we continue to struggle to climb up and down seven flights when we have to go out This winter has been worse than lockdown thanks to this useless company The excellent customer service made out on Schindler s website is hokum Never ever buy a flat with a Schindler lift in it if you have any disability They don t give a toss Indeed their service manager told me it was our fault for living upstairs if we are disabled Go figure

We have not had a working lift in our commercial building for 2 months despite Schindler knowing what the issue is Their first attempted fix 3 weeks ago was faulty and they have failed to return since and have now ignored countless phone calls and emails chasing them up about this The service leader who is supposed to be our main point of contact has clearly blocked our number as it goes straight to voicemail Do not use Schindler it is the worst service I have received from a company in my 6 years working in Facilities

Schindler elevator in review is from Anacleta Building in Mangalore Annual maintenance contract with Schindler is always been renewed from the days it is installed at site Customer service is extremely poor bearing in mind senior citizens are living in the building I would like to high light the incident happened in today fortunately during day time above all a professional young adult was stuck inside the lift for almost 45min due to no preventive maintenance care in place despite of AMC with Schindler Person stuck inside lift had the phone in hand so informed about condition However no one was aware how to open the lift due to power failure It is worthwhile imagining a situation a guest or aged person going through this kind of situation The worst comment made after the event from Schindler service representative is person will not die inside in similar condition I leave the subject to the judgement of all Schindler elevator users kind of service they provide This could have been fatal incident if senior citizens with out mobile phone were inside lift I am seriously concerned about the extremely poor service they provide though I endorse Schindler brand

Shindler after sales is very very bad

Lift broke down 4 times in a week Yesterday technician came but today lift not working again What the hell is he doing It takes 2 days to answer our call but then he is out in less than 30 minutes Very bad service

sir your service representatives keeps on making faults in the lift just because we took pearl plan and not gold plan he continously force the ladies in the building that if you have takes gold plan you will not have to face problemsmy question is that is the parts of schindlers lift so poor quality that they use to get worst on regular basisour lift has just been of 4 years but still we are facing too much problems and that too because we dont have taken gold plan other local lifts like shubham lift are in much better condition and not expensive too as compared to schindlers lift should we promote other companies rather than schindlers

Incompetent technician

Over the past week the Schindler Malta technician has been called almost daily After each visit the lift works for a few hours and then stops working

Their customer service is non-existent The do not return calls or respond to emails If you can get them to come out they will pretend to fix your elevator and bill you a fortune Then it will continue to break down constantly multiple times in a week and you get billed for every call but they never fix anything They truly do not care about the customer at all Even if your clientele are elderly people in wheelchairs they don t care They can sit downstairs overnight and they will not lift a finger to help Their call center will even tell you they don t care

This is an update on a prior review for a repeatedly dysfunctional elevator at 2300 Vestavia Reserve in Birmingham Alabama The elevator was down for a month in late May-June serviced on June 27 and failed again on July 9 We ve found that Schindler repairs typically last a few weeks at best Elderly and disabled people continue to be disadvantaged by this kind of poor performance--replicated for years including a multiple-month shut down in 2022 The most recent shut down required one or more calls to local EMTs to carry a disabled women downstairs so she could keep her medical appointments Thanks to local taxpayers for providing this service Schindler undoubtedly appreciates it Please don t rely on any single review including mine However if you look here at Goggle and Yelp you ll see multiple comparable complaints Conclusion something is decidedly wrong at Schindler The They Don t Care attitude was manifest to me when a regional Schindler manager told me via email that he would only confer with apartment management not with individual users of the elevators like me This is one of the most craven corporate attitudes toward public service I ve ever encountered We don t care if you re trapped in one of our many dysfunctional elevators You re on your own unless you sign a service contract with us Imagine if every public conveyance adopted that approach It s social Darwinism on stilts There s a reason for all the negative reviews Think twice before installing or using a Schindler elevator

The lift at my block of flats in

The lift at my block of flats in Edinburgh has been out of service for over 3 months We have several disabled people living in the block who either cannot m as b N as he stairs or have extreme difficulty with stairs One resident had to be carried downstairs in a medical emergency Schindler have told the factors that deal with our block that parts were supposed to arrive at the end of July Now they are saying the end of August They keep on moving the goalposts and it s horrendous I definitely would not recommend them as as a reliable lift company Come on Schindler This is not acceptable
