I will keep this short Don t bother insuring anything through this company they quite simply are shockingly poor and simply don t care 12 months and still waiting DJs Photo Booth dance floor operators you have been warned

NEVER PHONED ME BACK ON 1 3 24

I phoned again asked for Callum who was very helpful on call earlier in the day I phoned again approx 4 45 asked Callum a couple of question s mainly on policy quote it stated holiday let coverage inc damage caused by short stay renters was covered Yet on last page stating what is covered in left column what is NOT covered in the right column It stated damage caused by renters was not covered Callum said he would ask his manager who was in a meeting he or manager would phone me back before the end of the day NO ONE DID

Received notification renewal was due 5 days before hand It took another 2 days to receive quotation leaving less than a day to shop around or ask questions as my renewal expired on a Sunday Telephone staff had a didn t care less attitude

Beware

I took out a caravan policy with sharrocks insurance which included flood cover although the excess for flood was 2500 a few days later after many people from my park also took out polices with sharrocks they then called me and tried to raise the excess to 5000 which I thought was out of order so beware

Paid for the policy but received no

Paid for the policy but received no notification of receipt so had to contact the company to have it confirmed that our policy had been renewed Sharrock s comment was oh we should have sent you an e mail but failed to do so we do apologise In my opinion this wasn t good enough especially when it involves something as important as Home Insurance and a payment of a considerable amount

They re very polite

Excellent couldn t have worked out better wouldn t insure us due to their inability to provide a competitive quote and advising us to try elsewhere It has saved us a bundle Thank you

Disappointing Experience

Disappointing experience with Sharrocks renewing this year s landlord insurance Their recommended Policy for one of the rental properties was not remotely appropriate despite Sharrocks insistence to the contrary After considerable unproductive email exchanges had to seek an alternative Policy elsewhere Retained their recommended landlord cover for other rental property
