Not at all impressed had my payment but I have had to chase up for my documents a month after renewal

Phone review

Difficulty understanding the phone administrator as she spoke very quickly and her mouthpiece was too close to her mouth so it caused a problem in understanding what she was saying Also my insurance premium rose by 15 from last year for no apparent reason other than seemingly profit Not good from my perspective especially as I have not made any claims on my house insurance

Finally got our renewal sorted

Finally got our renewal sorted after quite a drawn out process Very unusual for Sharrocks so I will put it down to Covid effect and hope that normal service is resumed next year

Good prices and online quote

Good prices and online quotebut poor paperwork for Landlord insurance although I asked for a concise receipt showing Price Paid dates covered and Property insuredThey seemingly are not able to do this

Still waiting for the updated paperwork

Still waiting for the updated paperwork to come through in a format that we can open Invoice only shows the payment to one of the Insurance Companies and not the other also does not show the Insurance Tax Other than that good service great price

Just an Insurance Brokers no more no less

Unfortunately Sharrocks really are just Brokers The underwriters refused to pay They did communicate with the underwriters initially but in the end I had to deal with it myself

My experience with Sharroks

I phoned Sharroks about holiday home insurance I spoke to a lovely lady called Cher She sent me a quote and I e- mailed her and asked if I sign up today would she be able to give me any discount on the quote that she sent She promptly e- mailed back and offered me 10 I was very pleased with this and signed up immediately I have since told my holiday home friends about Sharroks and they also were impressed I am impressed with the service that Sharroks have to offer so thank you very muchKind RegardsShona Fowlie

Did not take heed of my email stating

Did not take heed of my email stating that I did not want to renew my policy as it was too expensive and not offered an alternative But still continued to proceed with the policy which then had to be cancelled I have since received an apology and Sharrocks have offered to make a donation to a charity of my choice which will be the Teenage Cancer Trust

Landlord Insurance

Like many companies at the moment if you are happy to communicate via email it s ok however trying to ring and speak to Sharrocks it s impossible I did renew my policy online but would rather have discussed points directly I hope this improves in the future
