App and stations are actually not usable Never seen such a poor app and zero customer service
I have tried to use their charging platform 3 different times over 2 years Absolutely impossible to use Worthless app and pathetic charging stations Chargepoint which has it s own challenges is 10X better

Such Poor Service
Like everybody else experiencing such poor service from Shell My home charger card stopped working and getting a new card is such a battle Firstly the app has no functionality to do this so you have to call them I then call them and they tell me I have to request a new card via email I do this and then they don t respond to my email over the 5 working days they say they will respond by I call them back and they are unhelpful almost angry I ve called them to ask them this It s so poor unfortunately I have their charger at home but would advise anybody else to steer well clear of Shell

What a terrible service
What a terrible service My home charger is in a faulty state but customer service says the technical team has 10 days to respond This is ridiculous especially since in similar situations before you could get someone on the phone who fixed it within 2 minutes Why would it take 10 days now If they even bother to respond at all

Costly and pointless Agree with everyone else
Agree with everyone else but currently sitting in my car at a Shell garage charging my car It 0 89pw if I tap my bank card but 0 93pw if I use the app So I install a Shell app onto my phone and give them access to me and everything about me and I am expected to pay more Absolutely no point in having tha app

A very disappointed Shell Recharge customer
For the past two years I have been using Ubitricity public street chargers to charge my EV However Shell Recharge which took the company over has been inactivating many of these chargers without telling the public as part of a rebranding operation I have tried to charge 4 times in the past week have contacted Ubitricity many times and they have tried to activate these chargers via new Shell-approved codes but without success I suggest Shell gets its act together and at least tell the public what is going on I have had no choice but to go to one of its competitors to charge my vehicle What has happened to Shell Don t they put their customers first anymore

It s a Euro Car Park that fines you and I had glitches with not very fast charging
I went to the Shell Recharge garage in Fulham at 9am and hooked my car up to the charger and went to have a coffee I noticed that it was very slow for a fast charger 50KW h rather than over 100 When I came back exactly 30 mins later expecting a fairly full charge the charger had only added a few KW and then turned off so my car had only gone from 33 to 40 charge there is no signage showing you why I asked in the shop and he suggested I try a different charger I sat in the car and charged up to 85 and left I have now had a parking fine from Euro Car Parks saying I stayed in the car park for more than an hour despite the fact that my receipt shows I was charging up until the second I left just after 10am I was there 68 mins I am new to EVs but I thought of this as a petrol ie charging station not as a car park I never saw nor looked for any other signs as I wasn t intending to park there My other gripes are that a you never get a receipt telling you how much your charging session has cost I had two charges of 55 to my card which later were refunded back to the level of the charge b the cost was very high at over 35 for putting 50 charge into my car despite the fact the charge speed was less than 60kw h c you can t use the app or get a Shell charge card so you have to charge on your credit card with no visibility as to what the charge has cost and no receipt
