Beware ordering online

After seeing their neck massager recommended in the media it seemed the perfect Christmas present for my daughter so I set about ordering one online All started out fine but when I got to the checkout I saw that there were 3 in the basket as well as another item I hadn t clicked on So I quickly deleted the extra items making sure only one massager was in the basket and proceeded to pay When I got my invoice at the end I found to my dismay it took double payment and lo and behold there were 2 massagers ordered I assume a website issue Immediately I phoned the customer service line but had to leave a message on the answerphone detailing I only ordered and wanted one but had been charged for two For belt and braces I also emailed with the same information No response followed from either Two days later my order arrived containing one massager but invoiced for two I immediately called customer service again who issued a refund for one and said they had got my message hence only sending one but nobody had thought to contact me to reassure me but they had taken the payment before doing so My overall impression is I was glad of the fast delivery but very disappointed at the lack of customer service

I ordered on the beginning of the month

I ordered on the beginning of the month of December and I was promised that I would have my bed at 28th even if I m paying the deposit and instalments I ve then gone in to pay and they said they will have to ring customer service and they said I m not allowed my bed until the 4th of January You should never lie to your customers

Just to follow up

Just to follow up on my previous review Unfortunately they information provided was totally inaccurate even though it was verified with a manager My order had to be cancelled because the company were not able to make the mattress in the size requested Very disappointing and a huge waste of time on Mother s day afternoon

Love the bed but the wrong bed was originally delivered

I ordered a bed and mattress from Sleep8 at the end of June 2023 fully aware that the delivery would take 14 to 16 weeks which I was fine with However when the delivery was made I realised they had delivered the wrong bed instead of the a bed with under-bed storage they sent a regular bed Despite emailing customer service and receiving no response after following up with a call the issue was rectified I had to wait an additional 16 weeks to get the correct bed An order that was supposed to take at most 16 weeks took 36 weeks Granted I could use the other bed until the correct bed was delivered but I wanted under bed storage for a reason The lack of any communication during the period was also frustrating If you ever need to reach out to them calling will be the best method I was happy with the guys who delivered the second bed Jack Sam and Akin They were chatty respectful and quick They removed their shoes which I really appreciate since it had rained overnight Overall I am happy with the bed itself but customer service needs to improve

I placed my order but there was no indication when the parcel was going to arrive However it arrived safely and in time for my sons birthday He had already bought a pillow from you so knew what to expect Am completely satisfied with the product

Don t get me wrong it s not to bad I just Fault it would be the answers to my prayers I do think the price is a bit to high but it is still a good pillow

Delivery Installation

The customer service was excellent and the delivery of the excellent bed was well planned At first it couldn t clear the stairwell but a different team were sent and they did their very possible best and it still couldn t fit I couldn t have asked for more effort on their part brilliant very helpful team led my Akin a guy from Algeria I think the Sleep 8 company must do much more to explain to customers during purchase to measure their stairwell and UK house dimensions in order to ensure it will fit before their purchases Items obviously look smaller in the display hall It s such a shame our dream bed couldn t go past the second stairwell

The product was great but the shipping

The product was great but the shipping and customer service needs improving The product was not dispatched until after the expected delivery date On calling customer service after the expected date we were told they had arranged for pick up with a third party courier service When calling the service they did not have a date On calling back to sleep 8 they informed us that they do not track their orders This all seemed wildly inaccurate Overall it s a shocking service the product is great through just a very concerning interim where we did not know if they would deliver the product despite taking quite a lot of money

The pillows are good customer service needs improvement

The pillows are good and I am pleased with them The chap in store was very helpful bluewater and said they could be delivered to me However - customer service was weak - they arrived much later than expected and only after me chasing several times One customer service agent was rude on the phone It took me sending multiple emails and phone calls to get to a manager Jack - who was extremely helpful and resolved my issue promptly and efficiently but this shouldn t have taken more than 6 phone calls and several emails to get to that point

Almost perfect

Almost perfect Staff at shop extremely helpful Communication regarding delivery excellent Bed unfortunately had the wrong size velcro side strip too big so now have to wait for a replacement Excellent fitting team Fast considerate and polite
