I dropped my phone and smashed the screen and explained I could not report what issues the phone had as the screen had stopped functioning I got the phone back with a nice new screen but started to have some serious problems with processing so reported these and they agreed to take the phone back as part of the original repair What they did not explain was that the amount needed to repair the screen had already been deducted from the amount insured they then concluded the phone was no longer economical to repair and offered me the remainder of the phone insurance which was no use to me neither was a phone with a new screen and a wonky processor I argued that the unit should have been fully tested before committing to spending essentially my money on fixing the screen as I had reported it had been dropped and the screen no longer functioned so could not report any other problems After a couple of lengthy discussion they offered me a full refund for the price of the fund as a gesture of good will So if you break your screen BEWARE This is probably 2 3 of the cost of the insurance make sure they know to test the unit fully BEFORE replacing the screen

My mobile phone blue screened and was unusable I filed a claim on line It was a weekend so I expected to hear nothing for a few days When nothing had happened I later discovered a voicemail had been left but I had no mobile phone by the following Wednesday I called up The agent dealt with my claim very well I sent my phone away for inspection and expected an update after 5 days After 2 weeks of waiting I chased for an update The money was in my account 3 days later

Good turn around on the repair of my badly cracked screen a good job was done The trouble is i can t get past the setting up the phone stage as it wont let me transfer the data from old phone to new phone so i am no better off as can t use my phone still

I bought a new Samsung z fold 5 with 3 The screen had a crack after couple of days and i was told to send the phone for screen replacement and was promised the phone to be delivered back in 4 working days which never happened till now It has been over a week now So don t trust them on that I have been using my friends phone since then and it s becoming embarrassing now First of all if you call 3 they will say that square trade is a separate company so they cannot help me but they can take out the insurance money out of your account every month Secondly I have called them to get an update and surprisingly no one knows where the phone is and they are happy to tell you that they cannot help you with anything for now I have paid the 25 excess the same day just to speed up the process If I would have known that it would have taken this long I would be sending the phone to Samsung for repair They are keen to take out 15 every month for insurance but they only make fake promises Once the contract is over I m gone honestly 3 will be losing a customer which was loyal to them from past 7 years I have been calling them every single day but still no update The call I made couple of days after the phone being delivered the representative said the phone is being repaired I called them today and they are saying the phone was never received They are a bunch of liars and I swear to god this would be the last time I will be dealing with this company This was the biggest mistake of my life and it won t be repeated I ll pay the remaining amount for the contract if by any chance I get my phone back and also I ll be filling a complaint against them This is just absurd I dont have enough words to criticise them anymore I m done I m happy to day that the issue has been resolved now So what happened was they never received the phone but still they were ready to help me I really appreciate their help and finally I haven t received the phone back but yes I did received the exact amount of the price of the phone Thankyou square trade

Unfortunately don t have the option to give a lower rating If you have a phone insurance with them first of all you will need to take a couple of days off in the hope to find someone to talk too As I write this review I am already over 1 30 waiting in the line My phone broke bought from Amazon together with the Square Trade insurance and I eventually managed to talk to them They promptly sent me an envelope and my phone was posted to them After a few days I got the message that phone couldn t be fixed so they would send a new one New phone arrived but it was the wrong one so after a couple of hours on the phone managed to get in touch again and they said that they would send a replacement and I would need to exchange the wrong phone with the delivery driver DPD Phone arrived but driver wouldn t take it as there was no sticker or label provided Managed to get through them again and they said it was driver mistake and he should have taken the wrong phone but not to worry it will be with you the next day 2 days after and I still haven t received my phone or heard about what is going on Just unbelievable And I have been paying my monthly fee for about 2 years Definitely not continuing with them when this is sorted claim ID 094805573135Just as I finish the review I am already 1 52 59 on the waiting queue Avoid and search for a better insurance provider I wish I had Update since last review Got a phone call the next morning after writing review and finally managed to get things sorted New phone arrived two days later Upgrading to 3 stars now due especially to the operators who were always friendly and tried to help when I finally got to speak with them and my claim being fulfilled with an upgrade phone But still believe something is wrong with their system We pay insurance to have peace of mind when something goes wrong and not to have more headaches It was over 7 hours on the phone mostly waiting to get connected and a bad review before I finally managed to get it sorted It should not have been like that If they get their call and overall system improved they could certainly be between the top options for phone insurance

I did find it difficult to contact you to make a claim and I have been without phone for 6 days

My phone fell on the floor and stopped working I ve been sending several emails to squaretrade for two weeks and I haven t had any response I m very dissatisfied with the service via email I m still waiting for an answer

DO NOT GET THIS PHONE INSURANCE IT S A SCAM My screen phone got broken completely the claim and they took my 99 from my account everything fine they send me confirmation email and in the email they are saing in 5 days I will have the phone when I call them back they said the device was send and receive I suppose to receive a email or phone message with the tracking number when you send the device never receive they have a tracking number in the sistem could be for another device for somone els but the phone it s showing to be deliverd in Millton Keys post office I call the post office in millton keys 1h 30 min waiting time in que the laidy from post office was saing to me this parcel dosen t have a name or addres Awwww how it s possible it s a scam or It s been already a month and still didn t receve my divace I will take legal action something like this it s not possible SQUARETRADE SCAMERS Please read all the rewievs before ro buy this insurance Update I received the phone in 3 days after complaining and refound for replacement fee never expect this but Daniel from complaints team has done a good job 5 stars for him

Edit after hourse of calling my claim finally been aproved im waiting for new phone still not fonna give 5stars as the customer service is awful and rude but changing my one star for 3 stars if better customer services then would give 5the worst company ever No one answered it s a big scam I need my phone replaced it s a scam they cooperate with three company just to don t get you claim AWFULImma take it to the court if no one will get in touch today

Edit-after trying since September I finally got through to an agent who actually went through the process of locating my account from my amazon order number This guy managed to get my entire claim resolved in one phone call It shouldn t have taken this long but I m glad it s resolved now Changed from a one star to three Purchased my insurance through Amazon Went to claim after several months and Squaretrade are insisting they have no record of my account and are no longer replying to my emails I am having to continue paying whilst this is all going on I just want my phone repaired
