We did not get as far as a final order

We did not get as far as a final order though it was our intention Stiltz representative came thought a lift would be possible in our unusual home and we paid 8000 deposit on the understanding that it would be returned if the lift didn t prove possible We indicated our top price Stiltz sent a surveyor and then a second surveyor The result of their surveys was the lift would only be possible if we employed a builder to create a dormer in the roof Having consulted a builder about feasibility and price we wrote to say that the project was not practical and could our deposit be returned We were then informed that we would have to pay for both the surveys and structural report Nowhere on stiltz literature nor in any correspondence with us was reference made to surveys and reports being at the clients expense Had we be told this and given quotes we would not have proceeded without assurances from stiltz that a lift was a practical proposition

Worst Company Ever

Some of these great reviews must have been paid for by the company I made a reservation for an in home consultation the day before I received 10 phone calls by several employees trying to make excuses why it was bets to cancel appointment and reschedule i explained that rescheduling was out of the question as I already took a day off of work for this appointment my last call was to verify that the appointment was on as scheduled the morning of the appointment i received a call an an email stating that as per my request to cancel appointment if i wanted to reschedule If this is what this company does how can anyone trust them to install an elevator thank goodness there are plenty of other elevator companies around

I wish i could give a minus review

I wish i could give a minus review absolutely appalling service would never recommend them First when they started the lift left a sheet not pinned causing my mother to have a broken shoulder ribs she is a 78year old who lives on her own We then stopped all works allowing her to recover we then asked them to come back after six monthsYou would think after an major accident they would be falling over them selves to get this lift sortedThey left my mum for 5 days no working toilet They arrive at 10 00 most days finished at 3 00 They would have a builder who would have his 13 year old son attend site helping him assuming taken out of school He would not turn up the days he was allocated Project Manager David again no project management WE WANT LIFT TAKEN OUT WE ARE PURSUING LEGAL ACTION NOW ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

NZ sole agent response needs correcting To put some facts misrepresented A qualified builder had been engaged to do the work Council had approved the work At no stage did I get to speak to the sti

NZ Have had VERY stressful and confusing time trying to get a Stiltz lift installed The agent has refused to install the lift It all hinges round the required PS2 document which the agent is supposed to facilitate but his help was only to send more examples of what was required but not specific to our situation Council had approved my application for a building consent permit dependent on the Ps2 document It is the ideal lift for our situation Two 80 year olds But communication appalling

Dissatisfied customer

I find it hard to recommend this lift supplier as we had had a lift installed in the 2nd week of October 2021 and to date it has broken down on three separate occasions requiring and engineer to come out This left us with out the lift for a couple of days on two occasions The lift also sends out a signal every time it is used that causes us to lose our internet connection for two minutes which is extremely annoying H E Russell

Useful but expensive

Initial problems siting lift as surveyor got it wrong Small faults were remedied over several months but magnetic catches on door knocks out Wi-Fi Had to pay broadband provider extra cash to beef up our signal Overall lift is useful but a very expensive and now a continually expensive commodity Knowing that I wouldn t have bought one
J

Disappointing experience

Lift is wrongly described and explained The customer service following installation leaves a great deal to be desired We were reassured that the lift would work if there was a power cut but it only works for about an hour so if the power goes off during the night I am left with no way to get down the following morning

Pending review

I am temporarily deleting the review of my experience today in my new Stiltz lift pending the resolution of serious technical issues I am doing so based upon assurances from Stiltz that the matter will be promptly addressed and resolved

The Trio+ is a three-person, wheelchair-accessible model featuring a gently-angled ramp and automatic door for easy entrance and exit, suitable for users with walking frames or wheelchairs.

Stiltz home lifts stand out due to their small footprint (the Duo+ covers less than one square metre), whisper-quiet operation thanks to a self-supporting stilt and guide system, and fast installation typically completed in one day. They use a through-floor lift design with dual rail technology and a self-contained drive system, requiring only a standard power socket and eliminating the need for load-bearing walls or hydraulics.
