Worst Customer Service
Was really excited to purchase a coat from this small brand Coat was on 30 off A few days later within the return time frame coat price dropped from 30 to 50 off My size and color coat was still in stock so I reached out to see if they would honor the new price as many other retailers I have purchased from ie Steven Alan Madewell will refund you the difference I contacted their customer service only to hear they could do nothing to help me I even tried calling the NYC only to not be able to get through because the voicemail for the time warner number was not set up Seriously For a small independent company I really expected way more attention placed to their customer service Not sure I will buy from them again and if I do I won t be doing it at their store

DO NOT waste your money on this brand
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BRAND Really terrible products I bought one of their Winter raincoats but it s such poor quality and impractical for the price you pay Despite it being a winter coat it wasn t even warm enough for a UK winter The coat is utterly impractical in the rain the fabric cuffs come down below the sleeves so soak up the water and rain runs into the open pockets On the winter version the pockets are fabric inside so the water soaks into them and I have to assume into the lining The next day the cuffs and pockets were still wet The zip also broke on my jacket after only a few wears The response from customer service was that the issues you mentioned are not considered production fault We believe that fashion can compromise functionality in some occasions Apparently they can charge a high price for terrible products as they are fashionable I would advise anyone to avoid this brand at all costs

Would not recommend Stutterheim
Would not recommend Stutterheim raincoats I ordered a raincoat from them and when receiving it I noticed that all the seams were tangled and sticked out All of them Not what to expect when buying a raincoat in that price range I emailed them a picture of the seams and asked for a new one and they did not answer Very unprofessional More then a week later I had to call them and I got to return my raincoat Now about 3 week after returning my raincoat I have still not got my money back Very disappointed of my experience with Stutterheim

Great product quality but crap service
Great product quality but crap service The coat was over sized and needed to be returned It was a Christmas gift for my wife and I asked to exchange Their policy is no exchanges but I could return and then buy another item and of course the price had gone up a lot I explained I really just wanted to exchange for a smaller size and that it was a Christmas gift It took 4 more emails over a few weeks from myself before they replied on January 3rd and simply said no exchanges were allowed

Unsatisfactory Customer Service
The raincoat is extremely well made Sizing on the large size as is the sleeve length The problem lies within customer service which is abysmal Bought 2 coats to find out which size is best for me In order to return the one which was too big you need a custom s invoice which Stutterheim maintain is sent to you I definitely did not receive it I have emailed them several times but they do not reply I have tried phoning them but have not managed to get through I phoned their carrier UPS and they emailed me a blank form Unfortunately I am not able to fill in the form as I do not have the required missing information which Stutterheim should have provided so I cannot send back the unwanted coat as without the completed pro forma it will fail to get through customs Customer beware- you will be unable to return any product to get a refund

The Rudest Customer Service
This has to be the company with the rudest customer service here is what they said when I complained about being charged additional carrier duties totalling over 40 and my return was then sent back to me by UPS Thanks for getting in touch First you are not charged for any duties or taxes for your delivery This is all covered by us And secondly if you had follow our return instructions you would not have any problem returning this to us Now the original UPS return label has already been consumed and we have been charged for the failed return What a terrible way to address a customer The product will be returned because it is oversized and vastly overpriced for what is basically an unlined rubber coat My advice avoid unless you like being treated like dog dirt

Avoid - rude and yet to be refunded for an item I haven t received
Repeatedly ignore requests for a refund when UPS the parcel shop have lost our parcel - Customer Service keep advising to visit the parcel shop blatant disregard for customers and actually reading their emails or trying to resolve the issue To sum up their Customer Service replied What do you want me to do here - charming Still yet to receive a refund for goods we haven t received - daylight robbery Unfortunately having to resort to involving PayPal and the bank Wish I had read previous reviews about their disgraceful customer service before ordering

Poor Customer Service High Price for a Less Than Perfect Product
Ordered a Stutterheim raincoat on sale on Nov 17 2018 and finally received it on Dec 11 2018 Apparently they had a technical difficulty with my order but this was only found after I contacted customer service a few times via email They are extremely SLOW to respond The raincoat is fine although definitely not perfect in the seams all alluded to by others given its price range One would expect a better quality product As well as a Canadian the exorbitant customs paid for this supposedly sale item was not worth it

Appalling Customer service
Appalling Customer service I had one of their raincoats purchased for me as a present a couple of years ago- the fabric around the poppers began to deteriorate and I reached out to Stutterheim I was contacted several days later by a rather rude accusatory Stephan from Stockholm Despite sending images inc the reference code from the inside of the coat I was basically accused of either having a fake or stolen coat as I was unable to demonstrate proof of purchase I explained that I will leave this here as the tone was somewhat uncomfortable to say the least Great shame to have lost a long term customer of many years and items purchased over the price of a coat I will now also join the avoid at all costs in view of my awful customer service experience Stefans Customer Service response despite my explaining this had been purchased as a gift Hi Barry I dont understand why you are upset to be honest We are willing to offer you help but first we need proof of purchase You have no idea how many people contacted us with false intention and this is why we want to have some sort of proof for the purchase We had retailers that have been robbed and lost their entire stock and where people have tried to return products to us for refunds or exchanges We also have fake products circulating on the market and this is why we need this How utterly charming
