Hugely disappointed

Our address details were used for a scam policy taken out with Think Insurance The company then passed our address to a collection company threatening court action and bailiffs We left various messages with Think insurance to phone us They never did We emailed them They never replied In the end we got through to a manager who basically said it was fraud and nothing they could do Not sure what processes they use to check address verification but as the police told us fraudsters tend to target small tinpot companies that don t have the facilities to do proper checksDisappointed by the fact that Think Insurance let themselves be scammedFar more disappointed by their so what attitude

RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL UNRESPONSIVEI give one star only because the receptionists were always polite Terrible experience with Think Insurance They raised my premium significantly despite my 10 years no claims bonus When I switched to a cheaper provider they ignored my repeated requests for the no claims bonus document The renewal team was rude unprofessional and unresponsive Avoid this company they re unreliable and only care about taking your money

Had a good experience using think insurance for the last 2 years demi has been dealing with me over the time and she is really nice Unfortunately markestudy has been down since September and now unable to renew my policy in January Was paying 1200 for the year and now getting quoted 4-5 grand on compare sites Young drivers best go ELSEWHERE

AVOID THIS COMPANY Hidden charges unhelpful staff who strong arm 18 year olds into parting with money for extra charges by threatening to cancel their insurance I took out a policy for my son as soon as he passed his test which we have now cancelled and now they are chasing him for 195 59 threatening him with debt collectors and county court judgement I have been driving for 32 years and have NEVER come across an insurance company this awful Considering his insurance cost him a total of 1 431 94 for 73 days I m astounded that these scammers are legally conducting business This company needs to be investigated

To slow at sending through documents cover note etc the basics Quick to get you on cover and take your money but then it goes downhill takes multiple ignored emails and phone calls to receive the basics after handing your money over Usual corporate nonsense where the only real focus is to pull money in then forget about you

Careful ThinkInsurance admit to making administraive errors of refund calulation errors not once but twice and only queried and questioned to a large sum So many mistakes in their handling of my families renewal policy The fees do not add up on cancelling a policy in line with received T Cs for 2 days after pressure selling tactics on renewal of not providing much time to search eleswhere They even admit these faults errors and they continue to stack up Absolutely crazy how this company continues to take people for a ride Cancellation fees of over 400 Seeking advice for a claim moving forward with ombudsmen and CAB

Proper rip off bunch of Liars top to bottom including managers took trade insurance covering my cars and did renewal paid 1647 20 then found out they not covered my cars on previous policy got cancelled this policy for 2 and half months only offing me 739 back trying to black mailing me if I take new policy with them then they give me extra towards new policy staff very rude never ever going back to them Worse broker ever come cross

A fraudulent and scam company

Absolute shocking company I wouldn t recommended anyone use these They give you a quote take a deposit then increase the price of the policy drastically Then if you cancel they charge you extortionate admin fees if you don t wont the policy after there galactic price hike These are a fraudulent and scam company and they have be reported to trading standards

Still waiting to receive NCB Over 6 weeks to get

I have been waiting for my no claims bonus for over 6 weeks I have requested on numerous occasions and keep being told will be sent within 24 hrs now my current insurer has issued notice to terminate current policy Think Insurance phones lines listed on their website appear not to be working Found a 0800 number which is not being answered for any department one even says our offices are now closed -this is during their working hours Unacceptable service Would not recommend

Getting the insurance is not an issue it s all bells and whistles But the aftercare service is atrocious you are pestered every other day for documents even though you ve provided evidence you ve contacted the relevant authorities for a change you submit your evidence and they don t trust you so they have to make contact themselves to confirm then they send you threatening letters to cancel your policy because evidently they don t check their emails on a Monday to see if anything has come through over the weekend don t believe all the good reviews some are potentially incentivised to boost their scores Poor poor company
