They offered a reasonable price and the best policy for a black box so I took a policy out with them They asked for all my details such as share codes and license numbers which I sent them but due to moving house and getting a new license sent to my address the codes wouldn t work which I informed them over the phone and they said was fine They then sent me letters emails and phone calls telling me my insurance was going to be cancelled They denied receiving any emails containing my details to which I sent them screenshots Now they re sending me emails saying I must log in to my black box portal once a week and I m on my last warning Every time I ve checked my portal nothing has changed This proves I m a safe driver and checking it once a week is a burden Not once was I ever told I d had to log in once a week and over the phone they read me the terms and conditions of the black box and that was never bought up When I took out my policy they actually asked me to give them a good review on Trustpilot which I found a bit dodgy as all they d done is sell me a policy which is there job They hadn t gone out of their way to help me at all If you want to be bombarded with letters emails and phone calls about them cancelling your policy then take out a policy with them Honestly more hassle then it s worth I think most of the reviews on here are fake or people feel like they have to write a good one because they ve been pressured into by three person who sold them their policy

Beware that the website form is not what it leads you to think You get a form headed Get a FAST price and with a button that says CONTINUE TO MY QUOTE How much could you save but it is not in fact a quote form like you get with price comparison sites etc It is a form whereby you are submitting your details it will not let you proceed until you tell them telephone number and email address and then once they ve harvested those details the next page says Thanks Now keep an eye out for calls from this number Sneaky you do not get a FAST price and it does not continue to your quote and dubious as to whether that counts as informed consent as per the GDPR ThinkInsurance are not the only insurer to operate in the tell us a bit and we ll call you back for an interview and some sales talk kind of way but I think they are the only one not to be up front and transparent about it I decided we d got off to a bad start I want my insurer to be straightforward with me from the beginning and I went elsewhere

Although they offer cheap quotes the need to ring them for every change or update you need to make is beyond tedious Not having the option to amend your account online or through an app is so dated

I think they re absolutely ridiculous Recently started a insurance with them we paid for 3000 understanding we will have to pay for more later in the year we get a phone call saying we have 7 days too add more miles or my insurance is going to be cancelled bare in mind I haven t even used 1000 miles yet We are being charged upfront 250 that I haven t got I m 17 and my monthly cost has gone up It was already a lot to begin with I think they re a rip off and totally would advice you if you re getting a black box insurance with them to go else where Absolutely ridiculous

Con artists avoid at all cost literally hidden charges confirmation of correct details then waited till 4 days after cancellation to up the policy

Customer service and prices are good however they are awful at communicating with the other companies they work with Have had several issues with my black box and no information being passed on Also have had my current insurer cancel my insurance because I haven t been given my proof of no claims despite being requested multiple times

Hmm - found these guys on Google Can t progress online has to be a telephone call during which I have to divulge all my personal info so that they can record the conversation do I get a copy No thought not bit one-sided that eh As I d never heard of them I decided to check here before I said anything else Lots of reviews with identical language a few really nasty ones about price hikes and expensive cancellation policies Thanks Trustpilot - that helps Think Insurance I think not
