Very professional

From the very beginning I found Allison to be professional and helpful So noted my concerns and brought to light a couple of things she had concerns about She was very supportive of my circumstances and kept me involved in what was going on via emails and phone conversations Phone discussions were always backed up with a email My only problem is that the team on the other side of the office let me down I needed someone to represent me with a trust fund and although details were passed over no one has contacted me from Thorntons yet despite several request On the home selling side I would definitely recommend using Thortons Properties

Helpful and efficient

We had an excellent experience with Alex and her colleagues from Thornton solicitors They handled the sale of our Welsh property and the purchase of our Scottish property which meant dealing with two different legal systems We were kept informed throughout and we really appreciated the prompt replies to our queries On the few occasions where Alex was on leave we were well looked after in her absence by her other colleagues Despite a very long selling process due to the other parties in the chain we were extremely happy with our experience with Thorntons and would not hesitate to use them again in the future

I can t rate Thorntons highly enough My solicitor Katherine couldn t have been more helpful This was my first time buying a property in Scotland and she guided me through the whole process and answered all my questions Even the daft ones What really set Thorntons apart for me was their communication When I ve bought or sold property in the past getting a response from a solicitor was like pulling teeth In fact I can t recall anyone ever having a positive thing to say about the legal aspect of the home-buying process But Thorntons made it painless
