"Wonderful experiences over 35 sits so far "

I ve been pet sitting through THS for more than three years now and have happily completed 35 sits I ve met wonderful people stayed in some beautiful homes and have had the opportunity to explore places that I ve always wanted to while feeling like a local It s been a wonderful experience for me and I recommend it to anyone who loves animals

This service has been amazing My partner and I only regret we didn t find them sooner We can now plan travel together with confidence and so far the folks we ve met have all been wonderful to meet I no longer feel trapped I ve had very quick responses to requests for sits with little notice Everyone has left my home clean and my animals happy

"Simple efficient and good value for money"

We ve had two couples stay at our house now through TrustedHousesitters and we couldn t be more pleased with the process It s simple and efficient to find sitters on the site and then the people who have stayed have been delightful It s a really easy and affordable way to leave your house and pets in good hands while you re away Highly recommended

"Amazing community and opportunities to travel on a budget"

We have had so many great vacations out of trusted housesitters app Its like airbnb but bartering pet care for a vacation home Highly recommend if youre slightly flexible and willing to seal with the occasional rejection

"On year abroad petsitting "

I just got finished with a year of pet sitting in Europe and had a wonderful experience I would not have seen the fabulous places I stayed had it not been for the lovely homes that I sat in This is a great way to see the world and have free comfortable accomodations while doing it I felt not like a tourist but as a community member shopping locally and joining all the local gyms local theater and local sightseeing I could not have done it without the wonderful pets that I was luckily enough to have in my care They were an excellent excuse to get out and about in the neighborhoods and communities and meet like minded pet parents getting out with their pets too I plan on doing another year somewhere in the world again

"After 16 sits in 4 years"

After 16 sits in 4 years I can honestly say that THS has an excellent business model for vetting home pet owners with sitters Several things I think are important in using the app - make sure the sit is right for you - would you be comfortable in this neighborhood in a house apartment condo senior living complex etc Assess your own comfort against photos of the home Photos tell a lot about the sit So for both sitter and home pet owner - be honest with yourself in evaluating a good match If you expect someone to take the trash to the curb they shouldn t know only how to drop it in an upper floor apartment trash shoot If they never cared for a home don t expect them to care for yours I have great reviews because I leave a home like I lived there And I never go back if the owner isn t expecting a guest

"great site and wonderful experience"

Trusted Housesitter is a wonderful site to connect sitters with pets and homeowners We as a family have had seven sits all have been enjoyable and wonderful and all the homeowners and pets have been great The only problem is that there is no explanation as to why you weren t picked for a house sit I also think people don t read all the applications based on how fast some people reject you

"Such a fantastic idea"

Such a fantastic idea - I ve used TrustedHousesitters 4 times and have only had great experiences with a clean home and happy relaxed pet on our return So grateful to be able to have care for our dog in exchange for comfortable accommodation for someone travelling to our neck of the woods
