The donation of my Class A motorhome

The donation of my Class A motorhome was part of my plan when I first purchased it The goal was to use the R V for a few years into retirement starting in late 2019 Unfortunately the pandemic occurred and all of the planning and reservations had to be canceled except for one The process that this organization provided was somewhat complicated and involved taking pictures of the R V and is completely understandable Once the paperwork and all of the legal parameters had been cleared the remaining process was an enjoyable event knowing it was for a good cause

Service was prompt Driver was knowledgeable about what was needed I received a call the morning of donation Driver was on time

Initial donation process was smooth

Initial donation process was smooth It took a little while to get a tow truck here to take the vehicle and it has taken weeks to get through the process of donation slip which we have still not received overall everybody has been friendly to deal with

We were very responsive to my request to donate my car in March 2023 I was disappointed that I received NO feedback that my car had been auctioned - had to make a follow up call in August 2023- person that answered really did not have much information - think I received a standard answer - still happy that I could donate the vehicle

Vehicles for Veterans is great Very easy to complete the transaction online The transaction took longer than it should have because of the 3rd party transport company Had to contact them twice to get vehicle picked up

Simple easy process for donating to a good cause However they do need to improve training for their tow-truck drivers I was told to fill in my paperwork with an incorrect name as the receiver of my donation

Really fast response

Really fast response Should remind customer about removing toll passes and license plates though We had 75 charged to our EZ Pass Not sure if the car was towed very far and there was 75 worth of tolls passed or if someone stole the EZ Pass afterwards and used it

Had a problem with the tow truck

Had a problem with the tow truck company 3 times he said he would be there to pick up the car Did not appear nor did i get a call to tell me But it was picked up on the 4th try

The donation process was simple and the driver to pick up vehicle was pleasingly professional and empathetic to us about desiring to see the vehicle off

Motorhome Donation

Maybe it was because it was a motorhome but it took a couple of different towing companies untill the last one that did a wonderful job Very knowledgeable and polite This is my 2nd vehicle donated and will use them again
