Sandford and son scam

Full disclosure up front I didn t like the way it was hidden that your car more than likely would be purchased by a junk dealer whose main concern is to make money of the car and the donation to vets is secondary It was a cheesey process of which you will be getting bad press from me This is about the veterans not Sanford and Son s bottom line Thank you Vets I appreciate your sacrifices and service to preserve our democracy and not MAGA cult members agenda God Bless our Veterans

My truck was picked up then NOTHING

My truck was picked up but I have yet to hear from the organization So did they receive it How much is the tax deduction What s going on

NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE

No show for the original pick up appointment No calls no contact except when I initiated contact When they failed to show for the initial pickup I wasn t allowed to reschedule and until several days later I still have not heard anything about the value you put on my car

I wasn t told you only hove 500 value and if you eventually get more I ll be given an additional tax write off

Towing company never showed up on agreed time They came 4 days later never called took my vehicle while I was at work didn t get the title or keys and never called once

I gave up my vehicle to help veterans

I gave up my vehicle to help veterans and get some tax credit as well during income tax season They advertised for max credit but the truth is that you will only be able to claim 500 unless they sell your car for more They are quick to pick up your car but once your car is picked up you will not get any feedback You are forgotten

Arranged for pickup Multiple times but no one showed up on the dates and times that their dispatcher had arranged When called they had no idea Frustrating considering I m donating something Also never received donation document proof for tax purposes Almost questionable Hopefully it still goes to good cause

I thought I was dealing with a local charity that would use all of the money from the sale of my vehicle to help veterans Instead an out of state corporation takes a share of the proceeds and does all of the scheduling for pickup and sale

I called twice to office for receipt from tow truck pick up since driver said didn t have nothing on him Office said they would email me never got it Office said when car auction and sold they will send donor receipt Have not got that either Adrienne
