Exceptional Service Regarding Emotional Support Animal

I have an emotional support dog that will accompany me on my flight Initially I booked my flight with Air Canada only to find out they changed their policy and no longer allow emotional support dogs in the cabin I was definitely in a bit of a panic but WestJet quickly eased all of my worries They were very quick to respond to my inquiries regarding their current policies for support animals and after submitting the required documentation they granted their approval within hours following Even on Easter Monday On top of that they went ahead and reserved the adjacent seat at no extra cost so that there would be enough room for her at my feet Definitely recommend this airline especially if you require an emotional support animal Looking forward to my upcoming flight

Great appreciation

On December 31st 2016 we were in Mexico when sadly we received disturbing phone call from Vancouver that my mother is very ill and that we should interrupt our vacation and fly back home immediately WestJet went above and beyond and in few minutes only changed our tickets at NO COST involved We just wanted to say - THANK YOU Unbelievable experience We are so grateful for all your help and human touch that we experienced in this difficult times and we made sure to share our story with all our friends and family Once again thanks for your help

I need to thank flight attendant

I need to thank flight attendant Colleen Callahan She was incredible My daughter and I fly all the time but in December we suffered a horrifically turbulent flight My young 13 year old daughter had since been terrified We ve been on 8 flights since and nothing has convinced her yet that she s going to be ok Today Colleen Callahan explained to her what turbulence is and why it happens When I warned her that we may have Vinod coming in she said to me it s ok mom it s just the air Always incredible service and flights with West Jet Thank you

Excellent Customer Service

I had forgot my purse with all of my IDs on the plane in Calgary and I had a connecting flight The plane had already been towed to another location with my purse still on board The West Jet staff went out of their way to send someone to check the plane to see if my purse was there They had even sent someone through security to grab it for me so that I would not miss my flight Big thank you to Elizabeth JC and Nordeen at the Calgary Airport Meant the world to my 93 year old Grandma and myself to get home that evening

I have to give a shout out to WestJet because they were amazing to my partner and I We had to make emergency flights for a funeral and they were helpful from start to finish including giving us a bereavement discount during peak season Every one that we encountered seemed to know we were travelling for a funeral and treated us with the utmost loving-kindness I I m so impressed that a big company has such a loving human face As an extra on all of our flights the attendants were pleasant funny and made it enjoyable Thank you Westjet

I can t thank Jen on the Special Care Desk enough for doing it ALL for me today after nightmares from my online Travel Agent My Trip Jen was able to put EVERYTHING in place for me today for Disabilty Assistance She was kind patient and BRILLIANT AT HER JOB People like her are RARE in this day and age I am left worry free now with my seat selected for ease extra non payable hold baggage for my medications pain relief equipment etc Jen very kindly booked all my airport assistance wheelchair check-in details for both outward and return from the UK to Calgary Had after a NIGHTMARE Travel Agent I m now in excited mode for my forthcoming trip to Canada and that s down to this wonderful lady who excells in her job THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

We travelled on three flights with Westjet in the past month and all have been excellent We flew London to Toronto Toronto to Vancouver then Vancouver to London Customer service on board was the best we have experienced in a long time with helpful cheerful staff Our seats were comfortable And the value for money was excellent Well done Westjet

WestJet was running about an hour late on our Phoenix to Calgary flight We were heading home to Grande Prairie We missed our connecting flight home and our luggage was on the wrong side of the airport but WestJet looked after us They got us in a nice hotel for the night and let us change the time of our home fight from 5am to 1030am I was told they were late because of a medical emergency landing so who knows maybe they saved a life too

I had an especially difficult week in regards to passport issues and bookings and every single Westjet employee be it in the airports or on the customer service phone line went above and beyond what I expected and all acted with such kindness and respect and they were all so genuine I am truly grateful for every experience I have had over the years with WestJet and am happy to be a loyal WestJetter Thank you for everything and your incredible staff
