Absolute great selection every auction but the search engine is horrible Could learn from other online auctions

I am never sure what my total bill is when I bid on an item Could you not show my bid price and then my total bill or estimated bill

Almost two weeks on and no goods rec d

Waiting - Just Waiting Almost two weeks on and no goods rec d - no notification regarding the delivery either other than to advise they were despatched about a week ago Not impressed

Misleading auction items

I put a bid on a couple of bottles of rum that I won only to find that I could buy them on the shelves in the states for 10 They were deliberately not described well in the description Over all was my fault for not researching However I believed the auction was for vintage items

It s ok and easy enough but outrageous charges

It s ok and easy enough High charges though If you aren t spending over 100 there s no point I won 9 bottle but with commission and shipping came to 18 double there s no way shipping of one bottle cost nearly 7Ok Another month another auction Won bottle worth 14 paid 26 52 You guys are blowing up the surcharges I won t use you as this is probably the worse auction house i ever dealt with I will make sure I ll weight my bottle this time Its impossible that 70cl and 100cl weight is 1 5kg Very bad experience

Very high commission charges

I buy whisky from lots of similar sites and this is one of the most expensive in terms of charges Over 15 for commission and P P and that was without insurance on the purchase which would have added even more One other site I use charges just 5 commission so I shall be using that one going forward

2 bottles purchased

2 bottles purchased 1st bottle Caol Isla came in its presentation box which was water damaged suspect it may have been from a broken bottle at some stage 2nd bottle Bunnahabhain the outer seal was poorly fitted the stopper split when opening upThankfully neither was a present for anyone apart from me Wee bit disappointing

Delivery charges a little high

Great selection of spirits However delivery charges are terrible Cost over 8 5 for delivery of 1 bottle A 30 bottle with all the extras costs over 50 and it just spoils the experience

High Commission Rate

The commission at 18 is 50 higher than most others That s a significant difference and one that will put me off whisky auction in future Edit The commission is 15 VAT which is 18 VAT being real money that is payable by the buyer
