Wilmoths do not refund car deposit when requested
paid 50 reserve to view a Citroen and decided against it asked for the refund - but this did not arrive sent email and phone calls until it came 10 days later but was told initially that the refund would be made as soon as car was not wanted this is unfair same problem on another Citroen car was not 100 so asked for the 50 deposit refund no refund came despite sending email and phone call then rang spoke to the director who answered the phone he said only accounts can process refunds - but the sales advisor had done this previously left message for sales advisor to call me to process refund but no calls so rang back and a man from service answered who was surly and unfriendly and curt he REFUSED to confirm my bank details so i have no idea if this refund will go thru to me every company ALWAYS confirms bank details as it is very important information Wilmoths should be more accurate and professional when dealing with customers money All very concerning and upsetting The person from service I spoke to should not be allowed to speak to customers like that He was in a mood and I remember it was very upsetting - this was a poor example of bad customer service because he had a problem with me daring to ask for a refund which was due The salesman originally said 100 if you do not like the car after paying the 50 deposit we will refund you the next day - this did not happen This level of customer service should not be occurring in a small community like Hastings Additional problems with GDPR I have contacted Wilmoths head office data protection officer but have had no response whatsoever This is a breach of data protection rules this is not fair and very poor

Beware Poor Servicing
Beware - Poor ServicingBack story I had my first service here last year with no issues so not some random disgruntled customer Send my van in for it s first Major service At a cost of 505 45 Called and told van getting washed Asked for payment and told they will drop the car off Then asked to leave 10 10 on the survey I will receive as it s super important they get at least a 9 or 10 Again I have used them before and gave a 10 Upon getting the van back notice it s not washed Odd So look further and not a single hinge greased Brake fluid not changed Leaving me little faith in the other work carried out Told on the phone brake fluid is extra But when I told them it s a requirement on the service schedule they agreed it should have been added on to the quote and done Only option given was to book another day and pay for the extra work The work that is part of a major service I have already paid for Very poor Such a shame as the staff are all very nice Had they just offered to do the fluid for free considering I have paid for a Major which states this they would not have lost a customer Have escalated to Citroen I do not see how they can deny the above as the paperwork is for a Major service and shows no brake fluid change Our other vans will be going elsewhere now also

Awful customer service
Awful customer service I took my van into Wilmoths Southampton I told them what my local garage had told me was the problem with my van they had run a diagnostic test but said my van needed to go to a specialist Wilmoths ran their own test told me I actually needed something else They fitted the part cost just over 850 assured me the problem was sorted I took my van home the next day the same fault came up on my screen Took the van back to Wilmoths and this time they replaced the part the other garage had said was wrong with it I m still awaiting paperwork for the second part Wilmoths fitted I ve chased this up 3 or 4 times now and still nothing They assured me someone will get back to me They never do I m sure the part fitted for 850 wasn t actually needed

Sorry a negative review for my local
Sorry a negative review for my local Wilmoths dealership I had issues with my ad blue system and took it in under warranty Folkestone branch took 17 working days and could not establish the fault so passed it onto Ashford With lots of fault finding and talking to Citroen tech team in France the problem was establish The warranty company wanted to visit to sign off the expense Was informed yesterday that not all parts are going to be covered and I ll have a bill off 500 I m now at the 31st working day of being in a loan vehicle which I was told yesterday by the manager that I was lucky to have Along this painful journey I visited my van and was overwhelmed to find it had a large scratch in the back panel The parts are on back order so I have no idea when I will be reunited with my van Obviously talking to a lot of the staff and found them abrupt rude and condescending Really not a great service with no end date to all this rubbish Customer service poor establish conclusion poor Next contact to Citroen customer service Good luck everyone

Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless ds3 no locking wheel nut phoned may 7th and gave over all my details and one was orderedtold it may take 4-6 weeks phoned back twice weekly to find out if the part is in and being pushed from sales to parts department being told no one is answering the phone in parts call back later I phone back later told to phone in the morning being told person from parts has gone home being told sales is wrong dept don t call back even though parts put me through to sales Finally today on Jun 13 I phone parts again to be told again to phone sales they tell me to call parts and I loose my rag and ask what is going on passing me off to other people all the time to be told the part isn t even ordered because there is no guarantee it will fit anyway No doubt if this was a male they would be treated completely different to a woman and I have experienced this before in the industry No communication no solution and being pissed about for weeks on end Would expect more from a main dealer to be honest disgusting customer service Southampton branch

Failed to supply in spite of contracts being in place for over 3months
Ordered a Motability vehicle through Wilmoths Wokingham Even though the order was accepted through the factory and contracts were signed Citroen 3months later reneged on the contract and Wilmoths failed to supply usable information to know what action to take leaving us in a state of limbo for a further month Finally we have decided to cut our losses and contact a more trustworthy supplier contacted them when explaining the situation had the phone put down on us Shocking customer service

Wilmoths Eastbourne AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Wilmoths Eastbourne - wouldn t EVER buy or service a car with them After years of constant problems to the point that the engine failed for which they have accepted liability they refuse to provide any sort of reasonable outcome The staff at Wilmoths were completely incompetent and refused to provide a satisfactory resolution They are only interested in making money which is also reflected in other reviews I have read I still await a reasonable outcome Avoid the garage at all costs

Don t Trust Wilmoths Maidstone for Servicing
Last year was bad enough with my experience with Wilmoths in Maidstone but this year has topped that Last year I was told work that was only advisory for an MOT was need to get my car through the MOT and even told by the person dealing with my servicing to scrap my car are the repairs were not worth it When I did get my car back I had to take it back as a nut allegedly replaced on part of the suspension to get it through the MOT was missing This year s experience has topped that as my car was supposedly meant to be ready after a new exhaust was fitted on on Tuesday but no contact from the servicing centre I was even quote close to 2000 for a new clutch that I can get done by a nationwide chain of clutch specialist for a third of the price When trying to contact Wilmoths I was directed to leave a message - even though the servicing department was still open Judging by other reviews on Trustpilot and Google there are far to many negative reviews for the Wilmoths group with little being done to improve service I am surprised Stellantis still want Wilmoths as dealerships with this level of service

Never Again
Never Again I purchased a van from Wilmoths Folkestone in January this year To cut a long story short it has had an automatic handbrake fault from very early on As a mechanical and electrical engineer myself the van has just been a total embarrassment for my business The fault was not covered under the spoticar warranty no surprise there read the reviews I spent in excess of 380 to not have it repaired then went in again and no fault could be found After most journeys now I have no handbrake so I am paying an independent engineer to investigate as I have not an ounce of confidence in this dealership I paid over 22 000 with vat for the van I was offered an electric car for the day as a gesture of goodwill if I have my service done with them though As this review started with Never again it will also finish with Never again Avoid

After hearing nothing back
After hearing nothing back from Wilmoths Folkestone after calling and all the recent reviews I have completed I have taken a massive hit financially and got rid of the van I only purchased in January Never again will I purchase a vehicle from you Spoticar is a joke and you can t repair the vehicles you sell Avoid
