Badly support but excellent plugin development

actually desktop cache is no longer needed because for now 90 visitor come from mobile smartphone browser And now your make it very ekspensive

After 6 years using W3 Total Cache I decided to try WP Rocket hoping to solve and simplify some of my problems The truth is that it is all simpler without a doubt but I have obtained no improvement in speed and in some aspects even the opposite I will renew another year for not having to look for the W3 Total Cache configuration but also because WP Rocket does not work so badly simply for me it is not what it promised and I did not expect magic but better performance than a free plugin

I bought the plugin and after I installed and configured performance increased by only 12 in loading time I asked for a refund and they send my money back after 3 days during which time they tried to convince me that their product was working Indeed the plugin brought improvements to my site but too small to be worth the money

It makes already more than 10 days that I installed WP rocket but cant use it because there is a problem with the license activation I contacted support but they answered very slowly and then they didn t answered again Still waiting for them to solve this issue and in the meantime I m stuck and have paid for nothing I have to say it makes already years that I use WP rocket on different websites it works well but regulary there is something not working as intended and it takes a lot of time to get support to solve the issue UPDATE Solved the problem but was very slow like always

This is a nice plugin and helps your site with performance support is good but with late response i see wp rocket has issues with many features and one of them is lazy loading critical css What i did not like about the critical css is that its been like 6 months or something and still they have not fixed woocommerce on archive page when using generatepress theme so i will give three stars because i have run into troubles a couple of times using it still i use till i find something more stable

The service is okay but it just gets more and more expensive every year We used to be able to buy three year packages and no more What s very annoying is that the EU VAT is not deducted automatically even though there is a field for VAT deduction 20240226 - I had reached out to WP-Rocket me about the VAT before writing this review but the answer required a refund and rebuying and is ultra-complicated WP Rocket has had our VAT information for years It s frustrating when a very good vendor becomes just okay Looks like the MBA s and accountants are in charge now and not the original creators 20240312WP Rocket increased the price in January about the amount of VAT So between the time I checked the price and renewed about a week the price changed Rocket Me s long term renewal system has disappeared and the pricing has about tripled in the last three years I was on board to a certain extent but I ve had enough of WordPress developers behaving more and more like enterprise software vendors WordPress was about a community of developers offering simple tools for free and inexpensive sophisticated tools It s now turned into an abyss of commercialism spamvertisinig and misleading claims Rocket Me remains one of the better WordPress vendors Sad to see their standards slip somewhat as well I write this as someone who has himself substantially contributed to WordPress over the last twenty years

The software is good and comprehensive but support is almost non-existant and insufficient at best Waiting three weeks for simple replies while paying a premium is not okay in my books
