HORRENDOUS SERVICE

HORRENDOUS SERVICE I spoke with Kirkby in Ashfield Branch about potentially putting my property on the market with them I paid 160 for the photos and ID check None of which were complete as I was admitted to hospital and never signed the contract Upon arriving home from hospital I found a for sale sign put up in my garden WITHOUT my permission and without us signing a contract I have emailed them advising I won t be putting our property on the market with them as they completely overstepped my boundaries and trespassed onto my property They ve removed the sign but NO REFUND YET I GAVE MY BANK DETAILS TO THE BRANCH MANAGER LAST WEEK BUT NO REFUND AS OF YET DO NOT USE YOUR MOVE Should my money not be returned I ll be taking them to court DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE I WANT MY 160 REFUND Eager to point out I find the staff in branch personally charming and friendly but this refund saga is simply unacceptable

I have rented with many different

Warning I have rented with many different estate agents in my life and Landlord and I have never had any problems till I rRented with Your Move Sheerness I have rented 2 different houses for total 12 years When I left the property s Your Move try to convince Landlord to take as much of my deposit as they can for varies things including cleaning Even though I have already cleaned the place thoroughly I was spoken to very rudely over the phone many times Shown houses in terrible condition to rent with graffiti and broken cupboards and excrement on the bathroom wall Lost most of my deposit due to them being very petty

One star is actually to much for my experience with Your Move firstly I was told there fee is 1 of the sale price when in actual fact Any property under 150k is a set fee of 1800 so there s no incentive for the estate agent to get you the best price if your property is in this price bracket Then I was advised to put my property up on an Auction site was told it costs me nothing any fees are paid by the successful bidder the fee is 6000 it s all in the small print Eventually sold the property my solicitor contacted me to say they were still waiting for Your Move to send the relevant documents over so I gave them a call the manager Julie explained that they had send them and they were just having a conversation about the sale of my property I also told here the tenant had left she said well do some painting and we ll let you know about anymore viewings even though they had already agreed a fee and taken the property off the market

I went to viewing for a house and I was

I went to viewing for a house and I was really interested I gave all the documents she asked for but never came back to me I emailed and called and went to office many times but they kept telling me that they will call me back which they never did I am very upset about it because now the house says let agreed on their website and they have still not contacted me or told me anything about this

LANDLORDS LANDLADIES AVOID

Terrible communication terrible service Have used them to let out our property for the last 6 7 years which was fine until our local branch shut down a couple of years ago and since then it s like pulling teeth trying to get information from them or get them to carry anything out on our behalf which we pay them for There s been continual delays in getting tradesmen to carry out maintenance and they only allow two quotes from tradespeople before they charge us for getting further quotes Even tradesmen have told us they d rather carry out work directly through us instead of the agency as Your Move take money from them too The easiest time to communicate with them is when they re after money When we phone to ask something have something carried out nobody knows the answer how to proceed and they pass it on to the next person only for the information to not get passed on and nothing gets done Useless useless company We ve also noticed a high turnover of staff recently - obviously staff are as unhappy as the customers

No motivation

No motivation sold property to first and only buyer reduced property buyer pulls out then no more clients view they did not keep in touch for nearly three months then called said market was stagnant yet by now property was on another agent getting viewings but your move stated to take off the market was good ideaLack of enthusiasm drive to sell the staff were stagnant and old fashioned yet they seem to be the only agent that takes money from the seller for their useless portalWould not recommend this branch in wallington Surre

Beware of hidden charges

Beware of hidden charges At first I thought Your Move was a really good estate agent However I realised the goodness was only because they were holding my deposit During the end of tenancy at the time of releasing my deposit I was heavily charged for cleaning service Even the landlord and the quarterly review Instructors said that the flat was kept in a clean condition When I asked for the cleaning invoice I was sent a basic invoice just showing the amount saying cleaning charges Agent Josephine did not even try to help to speak to the landlord or the cleaning company regarding the ridiculous amount I felt very bad as even after keeping the flat clean and tidy by treating it as my own I was charged a heavy amount I will definitely not be using Your Move again I trusted Your Move with my holding deposit but they clearly broke my trust Anyways money lost can be earned but they have definitely lost a valued customer

Thieves

Very bad service we were accepted as applicants did all of our referencing we were told by your move that we had failed we can t continue bye can t even sort it quite rude to be honest we had been told we failed referencing application which isn t true because let alliance said it s your move decision completely so they must have had a change of heart And now they said they will not return my holding deposit They no longer reply to my emails or receive my calls Never had any problems with other estate agents like this since I have been renting would not recommend renting through these people

GORLESTON BRANCH - So where do I start Emma west is a rude patronising human being that has no people skills looks down on people who rent and doesn t care about families health They ve broke the law for over 1 year emails were sent 23rd February 2023 regarding no carbon monoxide alarm and we was fobbed off Finally fitted one yesterday and left dust everywhere from drilling which I came home to and had to clean up My boiler went over 2 years ago on a winters day with a newborn and I was told to wait to see if a plumber is needed and to wrap my baby in a warm towel Emma obviously doesn t have children We had a house inspection and the agent thought my partners work was completely irrelevant and she would have a conversation with a client on loud speaker We have been told that mould is not for landlords to sort out its down to the tenants All your move care about is money whether your a landlord a Tennant or a Client buying a property I would steer well clear of your move All they care about is fees and commission and make you feel like a peasant I honestly do think Your Move need to train their staff better and refresh their minds on regulations I have 10s of emails from your move pictures and everything to follow Unprofessional and reported to local authorities Reviewed on trust pilot as review was removed on Facebook

Not returning deposit

We have moved out from the property on Feb 13th and still haven t received our deposit back There is no dispute with the landlord and the deposit holding company my deposits has escalated it and given Your Move 5 working days to release the deposit Guess what Still no deposit Tried calling them multiple times today just to be put on hold and then get cut off Total scam quick to take your money but will not return it 801 is a lot of money to be withheld for nearly 2 month for no reason whatsoever Avoid if you want to see your money again
