5-Day Bristol

I completed a 5-Day course in September 2022 at the Bristol centre I wasn t starting completely from scratch when I attended 5-Day as I had had some lessons with another instructor but I wasn t yet confident in the basics I had been introduced to 5-Day helped me to pass my theory test within the week of the course which I was impressed with I also received around 20 hours of tuition for practical driving with an instructor which helped to quickly build my knowledge and experience over the course of the week The main reason by far for my satisfaction with 5-Day is due to my instructor Joe Donlin I was paired with Joe as my 5-Day instructor back in September As I was not yet at a test-ready level at the end of the course Joe continued to make time for driving lessons for me once the course had finished As someone who has struggled to find an instructor in Bristol over the past few years his willingness to continue to help his students who have gone through the 5-Day process but not yet passed was crucial to me getting the experience I needed Joe was patient knowledgable and great at explaining what I needed to do to improve He very much put me at ease and I felt comfortable asking questions on what I could improve on He also tailored lessons to fit my development areas and I saw a marked improvement in my driving over these additional lessons When I unfortunately failed my driving test on the first try Joe not only continued to provide lessons but went out of his way to find me a test quickly which really reduced any stress for me I have now passed my test on the second try with minors but couldn t be happier with the result I would recommend the 5-Day intensive course for perhaps slightly more experienced drivers who are more confident in the basics However I still found it to be worthwhile I would thoroughly recommend Joe Donlin as an instructor both through 5-Day or externally Thanks for your help

Mick Slough

We looked at 5 Day on the basis that we could end the week with a licence but did not realise this was not the case Our booked lessons got cancelled due to sickness but with the help of Mick he agreed to fit us in and make it work in his own time rather than rebook for 2 months later a great start Mick s teaching style is what I would call firm but you really appreciate this as it really prepares you for the test His knowledge is second to none So once the lessons had finished Mick confirmed he was happy to enter us for the Theory but there was no dates 5 day had told us of the fast track service and we where in a queue Our position in this queue no 11 did not change for 3 weeks So we took matters into our own hands found a test and sourced a cancellation Once we had a date 5 day provided some refresher lessons and use of the car and we got a pass with NO MINORS at all A true reflection on Mick thank you so much for your help 5 day I would suggest you improve your test booking system and maybe keep us better informed I do get that the DVSA are the issue but you told us of a fast track test service and we managed to get a date ourselves quicker than 5 Day

5day is a really good course

5day is a really good course especially to learn your theory I personally had to get an extra couple lessons but at the end of the day it was overall very good

It has been great for me however if you don t like taking in information and get overloaded very easily then it won t be for you

The course made me feel completely independent as a driver within the first two days The teaching methods from the instructor were very helpful for me

Pwi- Ha was the nicest and most

Pwi- Ha was the nicest and most understanding theory teacher everything was well presented and planned So much easier than just practicing at home or elsewhere Actual driving lessons wouldn t recommend if you ve not had previous lessons as it s very fast pace and you are expected to learn everything in them 5 days Stressful Personally had problems with my driver just didn t get along very hard to get along with and making silly or sarcastic comments through out the days Making me feel uncomfortable by the way he holds the steering wheel consistently and sometimes brushing my leg Understandably it could happen accidentally but it was more than once or twice Two way facing camera that wasn t stated to me or asked for permission to be filmed at all which again is weird Would recommend Pwi - Ha as a driving instructor out side of the course Also Donnie is the easiest man to get along with not having him for driving however always making sure that I was okay knowing I had issues throughout the week Making me feel relaxed and at ease throughout the week even not being my instructor Thankyou

Emilio is a great teacher and I honestly don t think I would ve passed my theory without him He will teach you the content in an engaging and interactive manner where it will stick with you forever

Great driving experience instructor was

Great driving experience instructor was amazing very helpful took everything at a comfortable pace would highly recommend However the classroom for the theory could ve been layed out better the chair with the little table attached doesn t really work

5day Intensive driving course- Norwich

I did my intensive driving Course week beginning 25 4 22 at the Norwich centre with Donnie Pegg He really helped me with building my confidence again after it was dropped and I started to enjoy driving again I learnt so much in that week We also had help with our theory with the classroom help from Greg I passed my theory after failing it twice before I highly recommend 5day for an intensive driving course
