Emerson 78 Flared Arm Loveseat Couch lost in transit
AllModern is a Wayfair sister company - owned by the same people and selling the same products with slightly different prices We ordered an Emerson love-seat couch to be delivered to our apartment in Houston Texas which was supposedly shipped from a California warehouse We waited over a month for delivery When the scheduled delivery day finally arrived we did not receive a call from the delivery specialists that they were headed to our address Because we live at an apartment complex and the loading dock freight elevator remains closed unless requested to the leasing office and because they did not give us a heads up they drove by our complex and left without us even knowing We received a notification that they had attempted and failed delivery and would re-schedule another attempt Upon calling customer service very long wait times they told me they had missed us because our phone number on the website had an extra digit false because I received text message updates from them every day up until the delivery day They proceeded to re-schedule our delivery -- first to 4 days later They called us again a day before that day to say that the couch had not been logged back into the warehouse so we moved the delivery out another 3 days to allow processing time The day of this supposed final delivery an hour before the delivery window time started we got another call this time saying that our item had been lost in transit A 78-inch long couch lost in transit The replacement would take another month - month and a half to deliver Due to terrible and unreliable customer and delivery service and AllModern Wayfair stretching our patience as thin as possible due to their unfactual claims actually blaming us for their mistakes we decided to cancel the order and issue for a full refund I strongly caution you from ordering items for home delivery with this company Very very frustrating process and zero regard for peoples patience and dignity Cheap furniture buys cheap customer service lesson learned

A warning to Canadian customers
A warning to Canadian customers do NOT shop on the All Modern site I found out the hard way that all is not as it seems with this company It all started when I did a search which led me to All Modern Canada I assumed that the prices were in Canadian dollars This was not the case Rather than directing me to prices in Canadian dollars it led me down the path all the way to completing my transaction when I saw charges for international shipping and duty This was the first indication that I was being charged in American dollars I think this is highly deceptive and deliberately unclear As I later discovered All Modern and Wayfair are sister companies which means that the same items are available on Wayfair ca where the prices are clearly listed in Canadian dollars As an international company they should be making it clear that their pricing is in US dollars I was deceived into thinking that the All Modern Canada site meant prices were in Canadian dollars and that free shipping meant shipping within Canada Not so To be fair to their international shoppers many of whom are Canadian the All Modern site should be listing their items clearly in US dollars and directing Canadian customers to either Canadian pricing or to their sister Canadian company Wayfair caI ordered a sideboard from what was advertised as All Modern Canada and I assumed that the price was in Canadian dollars Not so There was NO INDICATION that the price was in US dollars It was only when my checkout process was complete that I could see international shipping and duty charges If I had had that information before completing the purchase I would have cancelled it In my opinion not giving this information until after the checkout process is completed is deceptive and dishonest What was priced at 550 ended up costing me 1150 Canadian dollars once all duty international taxes and exchange rates were finalized I could have bought the same item on their sister site Wayfair ca for 850 Canadian dollars shipping included Bravo All Modern- you fleeced me for 300 Canadian dollars Well done Your shareholders should be happy So Canadian shoppers BUYER BEWARE If you re interested in their furniture go to Wayfair ca Do not shop on the All Modern site

bought a lamp on 6 24
bought a lamp on 6 24 arrived with missing parts glass bolt from the original box called to get replacement said it will arrive in 1 week then i kept calling twice a week keep saying its back ordered Finally a month later around 7 30 i received the missing part but its the WRONG PART i called again and they said they already knew its the wrong part sent so they are asking vendor to send another one out but with no ETA This is not the main issue they processed my card the date of purchase on 6 24 Due to the issue i just wanted to return but they won t allow me so i filed a dispute These people charged on again on 7 20 7 26 like its something they do often I have only have 1 time from them on 6 24 The processed the same charge on 6 24 then 7 20 and again on 7 26 for the same charge without my permission I have called my CC and dispute all of them When i called them to ask why they charge me 2 separate times when i never bought anything from those days The customer service rep Nanette said i am confused why we charge you as well but since theres a dispute there is nothing i can do for you and ask me to contact me CC instead Ill gladly dispute all charges what kind of trash shady company is this

Not so happy -
For me it wasn t really the merchandise but it was to small for what I needed I reached out to all modern and they said yes it was okay to return and I did so they gave me a choice of store credit a full price or a discounted refund to my credit card I thought I had agreed to a full store credit but instead they gave me a discounted refund as a gift card what you need a code to use they never said that after reaching out to them several times problem was never rectified So they got their product back I never even open the box plus I got my money so I guess it s too bad so sad for the consumer So now I have to reach out to my credit card company and file a dispute file which is a pain in your butt So in the end I don t think allmodern is trustworthy Wayfair

It belongs to Wayfair and is as bad as them Check the reviews for Wayfair here on Trustpilot They gave me a delivery day when I bought and when that day arrived they said they d deliver a week later They convinced me to buy with a fast delivery but they lied DON T USE this company nor any of their brands you ll be wasting time and getting frustrated

This company is 100 scam artists My details are unimportant to you as long as you NEVER do any business with them If you choose to ignore this warning I guarantee you will regret it I was forced to dispute the charge with my bank in order to get a refund even though they never delivered anything

This company scams its customers
Ordered a media cabinet and it arrived damaged and the craftsmanship was bad - doors did not align and could not be corrected AllModern was to have sent a repairman to look at it and never did despite repeated calls from me I then attempted to return the item and was told that it would cost me 140 to return even though it is clearly damaged and defective Nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone or anyone that can actually help you on the chat facility Avoid this company like the plague
