Won t sort out problems you re on your own

Ordered cooker for next day delivery got a call saying it wasn t in stock offered alternative same cooker different branding was happy to do this but there was a 6 day delay for delivery On the delivery day I had paid for delivery and collection of my old gas cooker I had my gas cooker disconnected and put out side a requirement for collection I also had to remove a breakfast bar to make sure there was clear access Cooker didn t turn up later got an email from the courier saying they hadn t been able to deliver and a new delivery date 6 days in the future On calling appliance shop and explaining I would be left without cooking facilities they were apologetic but not prepared to help saying it was down to the courier 6 days later the courier did deliver the new cooker but said they couldn t take the old cooker as it wasn t packaged I did point out that it was 25 years old so I didn t have the packaging but if they really wanted it packaged I would put it in the packaging from the new cooker At which point they told me that they couldn t take it because there was not enough room in the van they then left I called applianceshop and they contacted the courier and said that the courier couldn t give them a date for when they could collect and then made out they were being really generous by refunding the 24 I paid for the removal of the old cooker I pointed out to them as they hadn t supplied the service I paid for it wasn t being generous but it was leaving me to sort out the situation as they couldn t be bothered and that maybe it would be better for them to arrange someone reliable to remove my cooker obviously that didn t happen I have learnt two things from this experience one not to use applianceshop again also not to use anyone else who uses arrowxl as their courier

Check their Terms Conditions before buying

I ordered an integrated fridge and paid for unpacking and disposal of old appliance I ordered the wrong size I therefore ordered more expensive model due to being advised it would incur a 30 cost I was charged an additional 100 for the new appliance that was not unpacked on delivery Really poor and extremely disappointing- I would advise to triple check if you order with this company because if it is wrong their T C s have you over a barrrel

Damaged goods

Make sure you open everything and check for damage I received an extractor and did not want to open it because it was a load of parts and thought I might cause damage myself So I took delivery and put it safe ready for my fitter Fair enough my fitter has been delayed a few months but when they opened the product it was heavily dented I emailed to see if anything could be done and nothing was offered I have since written to Siemens because when you buy a premium product you want good customer care too I am now 485 out of pocket and a proud owner of a damaged extractor If you can please please use another company

Avoid this company

Avoid this company They charge a delivery fee if they deliver and you cannot accept the package Then they charge another 49 99 for another Then if you want to cancel they charge 99 99 I would use better suppliers in the future who value customer service They claim there is misinformation but this is simply not the case You provide an inflexible delivery service if this does not fit in with a professional business you charge 99 99 There is no misinformation My review is to warn people about your business and charges

Do NOT use this company

Do NOT use this company The customer service is appalling I made a simple typo mistake on the delivery address which they would not change even though I phoned them straight away and the item was delayed and not even dispatched so there was plenty of time They say it is all in their ridiculous extensive terms and conditions which they conveniently send after the purchase On principle I would not deal with them and wasted over 99 99 on an extra charge and ended up with no product

Avoid at all costs

Avoid Avoid Avoid Delayed and delivery date moved after order then when I tried to rearrange the new date I had to pay a fee other option was a cancellation fee They re miserable to deal with and what s worse is the product we bought is falling apart after 2 or 3 uses The same product was slightly more expensive on AO - we bought something else from them at the same time and had a brilliant experience 5 stars for AO Edit to respond to their comment - nice try just sums up their approach to customer service though

When you see Available to Order it actually means You ain t getting it this year

They showed an expensive kitchen appliance as available to order my partner ordered they took our money And then next day said that they couldn t actually get it But they d happily taken our money If you can t maintain an up to date list of stock and verify that you have the product before you take someone s money and delay them buying elsewhere then you shouldn t be in business It is STILL showing on the website as available to order They took our money knowing full-well they didn t have the product This is NOT acceptable I shall avoid ever using this company again Note A guy will reply to this but instead of taking responsibility and being professional like any decent company will avoid all accountability and try to shift the blame as they have done with all the other reviews on this page Avoid like the plague

Not a good experience

Not a good experience I will not be using them again Won t bore with details but the moment something went wrong they started quoting T s and C s at me and were going to charge some exorbitant amount to cancel which I suspect is against the distance selling act but I m so fed up with the whole experience I can t be bothered to find out

Proceed with caution

As others have commented - when they state Available to Order against the item and also provide a delivery date in just 4 days time which they subsequently confirm by email with the order it does not mean they have the item in stock I went through this pain with them handed over 500GBP on a card to be called afterwards to be asked if I wanted to wait for 4 weeks in case they get the item in - whilst they keep my money In 25 years of online shopping I ve never come across anything as brazen as this - it is not the customers role to bankroll their cash flow Staff member was rude on the phone and hung up on me when I complained Their refund states it can take up to 10 days for said refund - putting a hole in my finances delaying time to commit to another supplier In parallel I have submitted a case to action fraud for advertising and taking funds under false pretences The item I ordered still some 5 days later is still showing as available to order and a confirmed date short-lead delivery time offered yet still not actually in stock if you call them

Failed delivery and unexpected extra charges

The delivery driver did not buzz my flat only my neighbours and they did not call either leading to an urgent next-day delivery missed despite me being home Re-delivery was possible only 3 days later with an extra charge of 49 99 If I cancelled the order there would be a charge of 100 As their customer service underlines incessantly it s in the terms and conditions so think twice before you order or put extra post-its next to your buzzer
