I ve tried Artlist for a year

I ve tried Artlist for a year subscription and it wasn t bad Decent selection of music However Artlist will automatically renew your subscription of 200 without your Authorization and the Artlist site is no help at all on this issue All you get is a message that states You can easily cancel your subscription through your Paypal account Which is anything but easy The paypal site is not clear on how to cancel the subscription let alone get a refund forcing you to contact customer service This becomes a whole other problem and in which you must wait about 10 days while paypal disputes with artlist to get your refund On top of that Artlist only provides you with 14 days to deal with a refund else you lose the chance - cutting this whole process REALLY close This is a disingenuous tactic common to the notorious porn subscription dilemma where you have to jump through hoops just to get out of your sub I would ve considered using Artlist again but not with tricks like these so ill look else where Artlist should take example from subs like youtubered where you simply go to settings youtubered cancel membership thats 3 clicks

Not bad not great

I have been using it for a few months now and I can say that it s nothing fancy Not the best variety and even when you filter results you find the same songs over and over Some are great quality and others are something you would find on a free music site They also spam you with their ads on YouTube

Extremely Misleading Marketing

Been using Artlist for over a year now When I signed up for my 2nd year it was clear as day says Music SFX There are no hints that SFX is a separate purchase or Music only is a separate puchase There were only four licenses under Music SFX which was Social and Creator Pro and Teams Enterprise It even clearly states below Both plans give you full access to the music and SFX catalogs When I try downloading SFX it asks me to pay another 99 to upgrade to Music SFX Music SFX is the only package to buy There was no Music Only or SFX only However my license is only the Creator Pro Music with 99 extra for the Music SFX bundle If this is correct then there was not even an option to buy Music SFX together from the start nor an F Q stating SFX is a physical separate purchase I heavily assume this is just a bug and I do actually have SFX but their re-design has been a mess but I m having doubts I will update this review to reflect the outcome but so far it looks like extremely Misleading Marketing

Artlist team I am student and I save money for my tuition all on a sudden I got a auto renewed one day ago I really need an email reply from your team I am not getting any I want the refund or else I wont be able to continue the study Please artlist team please man reply or help me Your website is amazing but I can t continue it anymore for this year Artlist team I beg you to reply me and save me

They took the annual license Fee without Authorization

I used it for some months overall as a service is not bad but the worst thing hence the 1 star is the fact that although i have canceled my subscription i saw this morning that they took 299 from my account without any authorization The support seems not to take any responsibility and they did not help From now on i will never again trust this company Completely unacceptable and unprofessional EDITAlthough I still find this to be very bad after I contacted them and explained what happened the support responded that I was within the 14 days that I could receive a refund and since I did not download anything during this period after 2 business days I received the money back Which means from 1 star I now rate it at 3 for the support

Unable to cancel a subscription on the site it s a great site but very disappointed

As a youtuber I ve def loved using this site This site has a great policy of allowing you to use their music even after you cancel the subscription which is something Epidemic doesn t even allow However with a cost of living crisis I can t afford the expensive option that I had a couple of months earlier I ve emailed the company but what baffles me is that there is no option to cancel your membership or do anything of the sort I ve contacted the company twice and have received nothing for now - I like Artlist I think it s a great site very friendlyBut it s user browsing is very difficult its very slow and the music is great but its not the ones I want It s 12 000 songs which means it s a very limited song catalogue I would appreciate if Artlist would respond to my email and cancel my membership and an option to add if you want to cancel your membership or nut

They made it look like I was paying 25

They made it look like I was paying 25 for one month but charged me 300 for an entire year I carefully looked at the two options for the same plan before paying and they charged for an annual plan and do not give an option for canceling the subscription I didn t want I downloaded one song and offered to pay for one month and requested a refund for the remainder of the year and their customer service was not accommodating or helpful Edit After leaving a 1-star review Artlist was fast in assisting me with multiple solutions and provided me with a full refund on the contingency that I do not use the song I downloaded which was perfectly reasonable I appreciate that they were willing to work toward a resolution and not charge me 300 for downloading one song

A nice library with some flaws

A decent service I very much like the library Only issue is with refunds I ve had to ask for 2 on separate occasions due to the annual billing and not needing it at that particular time I ve been using them for years They always stall for weeks even agreeing that they issued a refund lie This has happened twice in a row which makes me think it s part of their business model Thanks to the conversion rate fluctuating and me having to chase them up I lost 30 for nothing They simply say oh sorry it was a communication error even though they told me they issued the refund when they didn t It s not until I have to chase them up where it s issued instantly Very shady indeed and I ve lost money thanks to it

HORRIBLE User Interface here s why

The music footage artlist and also artgrid provides is wonderful beautiful and an excellent way of improving one s videos BUT I just have leave 3 stars because the interface is HORRIBLE Yeah that s right it s the most annoying thing ever the interface is just made to look beautiful but it s absolutely unpractical There are also a s ton of JS Scripts being loaded everything has to be animated you can t really work with tabs or baths download videos and then there the shopping cart I mean WHY what s the point of that Shutterstock or iStock have a really simple not the best looking but practical interface the interface should be built to support the search for music and make it easy and fast and not a pain in the ass

They have a pretty good library and happy with what I needed however they should give you options as to how many downloads you d like or not They auto renew without you giving you heads up if you want to continue using product However their customer service did take care of my issue within 24 hours
