I cannot rule out or recommend but I was contacted by Avant just today 0r should I say I assumed it was them It was only when I checked the phone number of Avant that I realised I d been scammed It was a scammer operating from what comes up as a Southampton number on the display on my phone They have obviously hacked into Avant computer system to get my information bank details address everything So when other reviews are against Avant maybe you ve also come across this scam without being aware of it I entered the number they were calling from into Google and it was reported as being used from call centres worldwide and considered a malicious number Well yes after paying the rogues 200 as my administration fee and was promised my loan would be in the bank within 10 minutes - which it was not Then I d certainly say malicious was not quite a strong enough word I ve since emailed the true Avant to warn of my findings hoping everyone reading this is wary of a company known as Avant contacting you It might not be them You need to take particular notice of Avant s phone number I hope Avants business is not affected too much by these rogues

Clearscore told me I was 100 pre-approved for this loan with an interest rate of 11 3 APR After waiting for 5 days for a decision I was declined Hopefully this will not have affected credit rating Only reason I tried for the loan was because of the pre-approval

Sadly a business I once thought very good is now one with a none existent customer service Weeks without a response or reply is completely unacceptable these days Every reply starts with how sincerely sorry they are which loses its shine with the ever expanding gap between updates and lack of quality answers A simple question on a loan balance to be paid off took weeks to confirm with no straight answer to a fairly basic request Months after paying the loan off my credit report is marked incorrectly and after pointing this out in March I ve eventually had a response on 7th May that says they will update one of the credit files Despite replying within the hour to point out that 2 credit files are incorrect not one I ve not a reply to that or 2 further emails Famous American customer service does not lie with this business Avoid if possible

I have applied for a loan via clearscore with an apparent 100 certainty of approval It s been over 24 hours and I still dont have a decision I have to say I m not impressed so far and am thinking I might not accept the loan when approved If I had known it would take this long I would have opted for an alternate provider It also worries me because if they cannot do this bit right what will the actual loan process be like

Passed my loan on to debt recovery agency without informing me Added a further 60 on to the outstanding balance for no reason known LIE THROUGH THERE TEETH Hope the company and all its employees have a miserable Xmas P S New company took 60 off my outstanding balance and then offered me 60 balance if I could pay

I find that the telephonists are very pleasant however they owe me a credit and have owed me it for several months I am getting concerned that I will never get this money back

Been accepted but still waiting for money rang up and said it s deposited at midnight why is this if other people say it s a fast service and people have money straight away

I applied was accepted for 3000 at a lower APR then during the credit checks my offer was changed to 2500 at a much higher APR I took 1500 because I needed the money but watch out for this

I applied for a loan because my bank would not lend me money because of my bad credit My application was processed electronically without being asked a million annoying question the following morning money appeared in my bank account For that I reward them with three stars I was able to settle my loan within 30days my account was closed everything going smoothly at this stage Three months after settling my loan account with Avant I had an emergency and required money so I thought I could go back to Avant as returning customer To my surprise my loan application was rejected even though I was asked the same amount as that I borrowed before This was so frustrating for me for this I reward them with a whooping -2 stars

It was so quick once I applied the money was in my account the same day on a weekend also Interest is extremely high but not having great credit you are stuck with these type of companies unfortunately
