Excellent Service

There are a number of poor reviews here as there are for many car rental companies however we recently had an excellent experience We had originally based largely on price pre booked a small automatic car with a local company to pick up at Kaunus Airport in Lithuania and drop off at Vilnius airport a couple of days later Upon arrival the whole experience was proving a disaster but fortunately the Avis representative came to our rescue and provided us with exactly what we wanted with full insurance for not much more than the original quote from the other company Excellent service all round

Excellent customer service from the Piccadilly Manchester Branch Eric is an excellent employee and an asset to Avis Tell him Alyson from Kuwait sent you to Avis He will assist you and take you through the paperwork quickly and completely in understandable terms I have been using Avis for over 10 years at this branch I cannot fault them Highly recommended Will be booking again for my next trip later Book early as not to be disappointed that they have ran out of cars at this branch I trust them completely I won t hire a car from anyone else

I ve rented with Avis 6 times in the last two years in UK Spain Italy and Sweden Never had a problem Cars always immaculate I have never had any spurious charges added to by bill Being a preferred member also helps speed up the collection process

Although I have used other car hire firms in the past I have consistently used avis in the last few years I have always found their prices competitive The website is easy to navigate The staff at the desks are always so friendly and helpful I would not return to other companies

Super friendly and very professional staff Lee who looked after me on the day is a credit to Avis with his attitude and attentiveness Recently had the opportunity to hire from another car rental company at a cheaper price but the service from the guys made me return to Avis Awesome

Good rental price and no problems at all

We booked through the Avis UK site for a car rental at Johannesburg international airport for our visit to Kruger We were very wary as we had read so many bad experiences for all the car hire companies there including Avis However 3 months after our return I can report that all went well there have been no charges made afterwards that we didn t expect only the agreed refuelling and the road tolls - by the way the refuelling is totally worth it for a stress free return Their zero excess insurance was very reasonable the staff were helpful and pleasant Would use again

Great service from the Team in Malpensa 2

During a six month Contract in Italy as a weekly traveller I was hiring a car every week and it was always a pleasure dealing with the team in Malpensa Terminal 2 Luca and Alessandro would always go out of their way to offer me a car within my group that I liked and as a Presidents Club member some fantastic upgrades The cars were always clean with everything working as it should be and the guys at the pick up point were always happy to explain things for cars with quirky controls Avis will always be my first choice

Southampton Airport Avis Budget

I recently rented a car from Southampton Airport picking up after the Avis Budget office had officially closed The person at the till Bogdan greeted me warmly gave no indication that being late was an issue dealt with the paperwork and even gave me an upgraded car Perfect

I was surprised at all the negative reviews because I use Budget Avis in numerous countries e g UK Spain etc and it all seems fine and hassle free plus I rent 15 times a year so would have expected to have had issues based on what I am reading here Long on the short of it is my experiences are 100 positive One tip if you hire regularly is join Avis Preferred Club its a total game changer in my experience and makes everything so hassle free because there is no nonsense about insurance do you need a satnav etc etc
