Hi I live on blackdown Heights in crimchard please can someone come round and pop my toilet lid on as it has been of for sometime and I d like it fixed back on please Apart from that no complaints

Couldn t do enough for us until they took our money Then they became the most unhelpful non-communicative unfair company Really disappointed with the service and management of our first home

Love the house however communication was very poor as I was relocating from 4hr drive so wasn t able to just pop into sales office if there were isdues

Given the guys were up against a strict deadline overall the build is fine However some of the workmanship is visibly rushed and a few items I was expecting as part of the finished product was not there In terms of handover slightly disappointed that I had to chase the day before I arrange a time as I had been told it was too early to arrange a handover time the morning of the day before I also did not and have still not received access to car parking for which I had to pay an extra over premium It has not been communicated to me yet when I should expect to receive this On the conveyancing side I have found the developers legal team on the slow side I have had to re-sign lease documents a few times Given barratt are an experienced developer I had expected they would be more on the ball I also would have liked to see the internal communal layout benefitting the end user For example internal access to bin store omitted to give more space to commercial unit no direct internal access to car parking gained only via walking through bike store

Why is it so hard to reserve a property We know what plot we would like and willing to pay a 10 deposit to secure it but being told we can t Do Barratt homes want to sell or is there back handers going on with the sales team

Apartment with defects One of the Bathroom s lock damaged Paint on the front door and there is a scratch on the door too There are 4 nails nearly stuck out of the door frame that means get hurt easily No hot water once I turn off the heating button The volume of flushing water is not enough just little water of the en-suite bathroom And the balcony has not cleaned before handover the property to meThe entrance door is unlocked from the morning till to night That means the security is the problem it is not safe as everyone can come in with no fob The door always open

Lovely house Brilliant Sales Team Not happy with post exchange team Unreachable not flexible with appointment times Had to just go along with their behaviour because exchange had already happened and we liked the house Simple changes could make a big difference Thanks to Nikky on the sales teams

I don t really like the attitude of the sales person who seemed not to be very genuine The sales person also seemed aggressive and not very supportive for their clients It is the item that I like so I made a bid but if it comes to the experience then I would say it is certainly not a good one

Dealing with Debbie and Mark was a 5 star experience They were both helpful and did their best to put things right They were let down by build the quality and finishes Damaged build materials used internally and externally The legal team representing Barratts home have been incompetent and unprofessional in how they dealt with the sale

I received my house keys i was not happy Vicki from customer care service called me and arranged a house tour with the new site manager Andrew site manager made me fall in love with the house again before I had regrets why I picked Barratt homes I wasn t happy with alot things in the house some things just need a little explanation The person who is doing the house tour they have to be in the moment with the house owner for the home owner to feel secure my first tour I felt at a distance my second tour I felt secure some one is there and they are listening advising because I don t know this is a new house Snags will be cleared I have built new trust and the house will look perfect Am happy with the new direction
