A weekend break at Devizes Camping and Caravan Club

My wife I had been booked into the Devizes Camping Caravan Club For a weekend break we arrived on the Friday evening my wife had brought her car due an imminent bereavement in the immediate family We were there only an hour at most We were then informed of the bereavement in the family we informed the site staff that we only lived a few miles away were leaving the site So we immediately left leaving our motorhome in situtute My wife was so upset the following day Saturday my son drove me back to the Campsite whereupon I explained the situation to the reception staff who were absolutely brilliant about the whole situation After I had finished explaining the woman at the reception informed me that due to the circumstances they would reimburse my wife and I for the the weekend what such lovely people Thank you all so much

Great location and friendly staff

Stayed a couple of nights at this site - fantastic location overlooking Bristol Channel and wardens were really friendly and very helpful closed over winter but same staff will be there for next couple of years - first time drove in through Lynton from the Porlock side which was an experience with the hills but there is an easy route in looping to south and coming in from West Great selection of walks from site

Helpful and quick when I needed them

Recently had a problem where I forgot my membership card when boarding a ferry from the Isle of wight really good discount through the club and the ferry needed proof of my membership I rang the club who were really helpful and sent an email immediately for me to show the ferry company I don t seem to have had any of the problems of other reviewers and have always found people on sites friendly

CCC site at Moffat is really good

We are at the CCC site at Moffat Everything is really good The pitches are level and clear of weeds The staff are really helpful and maintain everything to the highest standard It is a great site and we will be back

I just cannot understand the negative feed back My wife and I spend time on the club sites every year We have just left Veryan and presently at Charmouth We could not be more happy Thank you to the Club
