Well organised before during after Instructor provided relevant and interesting information in an easy to digest manner Pace was good - did not feel rushed but did not feel slow either A good refresher on the topic

Great course Carl s enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject put everything into context and provided a logical approach The hands on sessions gave the opportunity to put theory into practice and I left with a greater understanding and confidence to tackle 12Volt challenges arising on my own boat

Brilliant course very thorough and well organised delivered Did the level 2 power boat one day refresher as had done the 2 day course previously but needed to re-cap The instructor I had is a highly experienced maritime professional who also works on the lifeboats and knows the Solent area very well He did not make it that easy for me which I was glad of - I had to demonstrate I was able to perform basic boat handling manouveres etc he made sure I understood what I was doing and why and helped with my understanding of reading wind and tide and using t which isn t that easy for a complete beginner His enthusiasm for the discipline and maritime knowledge would be hard to match I think For those new to boating there is a lot to learn and it s a steep learning curve you simply can t grasp everything in one or two days Plus you need access to a boat to put skills learnt into practice but this course is a very good starting point Highly recommend this training provider and this is an ideal location to do it

The RYA diesel Engine course 1 day Ideal for anyone unfamiliar with their way around a diesel engine or indeed anyone wishing to gain the knowledge and confidence to carry out basic maintenance and fault finding A very detailed and informative course given by a very knowledgeable and experienced tutor A full day of tuition comprising both visual and practical elements The training given was further enhanced by the hands on use of the in-classroom engines available

The First Aid training was excellent with Doug He was very good at pacing the material so it felt like we covered a lot but without rushing or skimming over any topics
