The CTC system is good and as time goes on it has improved a lot I had particular problems with various DEFI feeds and especially several DAOs which had parts or sometimes entire transactions that weren t present The support I had from Ben went above and beyond what could be expected and enabled an outcome that more accurately reflected the real results on my various exchanges Really couldn t have achieved it without him going the extra mile to help unpick the partial picture I had The only criticism is that they need more people like Ben

Scammers are using this software Crypto Tax Calculator to scam people as this software allows you to enter manual transactions by allowing manual transactions to be entered into the system scammers are showing fake balances to scam people in investing their money in there accounts Crypto Tax Calculator is so naive that they even allow scammers when entering a fake transaction to even show a legit Broker logo and ID on the transaction it is so easy to set up an account and import these transactions that Crypto Tax Calculator is the best tool to use for new scams Let s just say I ve learnt the hard way I felt for the scam and I ve transferred in bitcoin 3250 the scan was so good that it even fooled me but the reason fooled me was because when I did a check on Crypto Tax Calculator there was nothing to indicate that they are working with scam companies everything looks legit but their platform is so easy to manipulate It is mind blowing it I would not trust this Crypto Tax Calculator software I have reported my concerns to Crypto Tax Calculator they said they will look into it but it s been over a week and I haven t heard back

Cost s become prohibitive in year 2 I had a reasonable experience with my imports in year one I had 30 000 Tx which is large and paid 159 because I got a deal for the first year I spend roughly 20h going through every transaction because Binance in 2017-18 was messy and a lot messed up I got through I got my taxes sorted I come again to year 2 and look to get my next set of taxes done the price has gone up 100 to 259 because I have crossed a 10k limit I had crossed that limit last year Now I find out that this price of 259 will be yearly and repeating because of the 30k Tx I had in the past I now make roughly 200-500 tx per year as I buy a lot less crypto yet now they ask me to pay every year for that data I asked support why such a jump and they said it was their new policy No acknowledgement of the change or expense to my original contract I m now looking at other services

I found the app constantly errors with Network connectivity problem on editing transactions You ll spend significant amounts of time waiting for edited transactions to save and end up with the above error Highly recommend using an alternative which once the FY ends I will rapidly move to another tax app

This tool is nothing like the tax report generator for shares where you pay the money and the tool does the job for you automatically For this CryptoTaxCalculator tool you need to pay hefty price every year and yet you need to do most of the work yes most of the work yourself like painstakingly sorting out transactions Don t waste your money and time Find a better tool in the market

This platform has a lot of room to grow if it s going to be useful at all for NFT users It currently struggles with the majority of common actions requiring human intervention for a lot of stuff that a system like this should be able to do on its own I cannot recommend the use of this software if you re using it for NFT tax purposes User support is nice though

I have used CTC for several years In principle this is a good service but 1 CTC has become very expensive2 Recalculation of transactions has become painfully slow3 While they claim to support many exchanges I have consistently found that API connections do not get all the required data for many popular exchanges even for vanilla exchange usage of just spot and some derivatives and then the csv exchange outputs cannot be uploaded to replace the broken API data because CTC has either completely broken or very out of date code in place for processing the csv files Yes exchanges do update their formats from time to time but my experience with CTC is that they do not try to keep up at all And when they do eventually update to handle newer file formats the instructions on the upload pages are not updated so you are faced with completely useless instructions I have almost always had to create my own csv files in the CTC format using many spreadsheets or lots of code just because they do not bother to keep up with output formats and their API connections are terrible

I m a UK User I paid for a year s subscription last year unfortunately for me it failed utterly to correctly import my figures from Revolut where I did my first trades and manual entry ended up creating nonsensical figures I mentioned it to their support and they claimed they fixed it but by then I had decided not to use to calculate my tax I didn t mind it was maybe 9 99 or something like that This year despite not using it at all they charged my account for 39 I tried to log in to their system but none of my passwords work and their Forgot password doesn t work at all I ve sent a support request but they take ages to reply -Update-I got my refund but it requires me to remember my password That said CTC didn t work for me at all Maybe it will for you
