Could do better

Was given a very nice lady that helped me with getting my case heard to insurance company but found that when handed to next advocate I could have taken his advise and would have got half of my reward And now find am left With health problems that will never be good and have to live with

This case began well but went dowhill

This case began well Treated with courtesy and understanding After around a year my allocated solicitor claims handler moved from Edinburgh to Dundee after around another year from Dundee to Aberdeen and around another year was no longer with the company The solicitor claims handler then appointed neither had the same knowledge understanding or commitment The case was closed not long before the three year limit with a very derisory amount minus of course their fees as I was advised there was nothing else could be done Not a satisfactory ending

Frustration

From start to finish 3 different lawyers Most annoying when paying for time and having to go over information as one never bothered to look over so got charged for repeat Make sure lawyer you see will guarantee from start see you right threw to end or you get lawyer over worked with another s case

Shop about don t believe the advertised numbers and claims

Waited ages compared to others in the same position at the same time Also got less than expected as felt quick cash was better than justice in this case At the time I accepted the recommendation as I thought that was the best course but in hindsight maybe should have appealed

wasn t fun working with but you came through in the end for me

A year ago I d written DB off for dropping the ball for me in my case I expected that was the last I d hear from DB DB came back after a while and while telling me case had only a slim chance they persevered for a settlement and apparently for no fee A settlement was reached but at this point I do yet have the settlement amount but I am assured it is coming

David vs Goliath

Although the service from the solicitor was very good in expertise and professional in terms of keeping you advised on the status of in my case the claim I felt that they were unsure of their abilities when they were being opposed by a much larger legal organisation and therefore tended to back-off any potential confrontational issues and this results in weaker presentation of the issues

Decent lawyers but probably doesn t live up to hype

Lawyers were decent and friendly enough when you could get to speak to them which was difficult most times Had a change of internal lawyer with also a few times Better communicating by email Felt in the end that the payout they advised me to take was no better or worse than any other legal firm could have achieved therefore don t in this case really believe the hype advertising about achieveing greater payouts than all other firms

Long wait with many different lawyers

It took 18 months to get anywhere with a settlement and then a further few months waiting for a cheque Every few months the lawyer would change and I would have to start again with someone who didn t know my case first hand I also feel I was forced into accepting an offer I wasn t happy with because the lawyers couldn t be bothered to fight for more

Good at the beginning

I liked the manner in which my case was initially dealt with I disliked after going through the account of the accident Digby Brown received a call from the 3rd party looking for representation which then caused a conflict of interest Surely if I was first to contact you there should be a system in place to avoid this I did get past on to another company who then wanted all the details again May I just add this smaller company where brilliant
