I would go even lower if i could Eon pestered me for months to get a smart meter Eventually gave in Book a day for Fri afternon between 12 and 4 pm my wife organised To stay in for afternoon I got email saying they had arrived Man sat in car for tenMins then drove off He sent me an email saying no one was in Second time eon wanted to do a safety check i phoned them after 35 mins on phoneWas told it was wrong number tried next number30 mins later got thru and made an appointment man never turned up Was then warned it was against law to leave safety check

APPALLING COMPANY SENT ME A BILL FOR OVER 2000 which was false told them I have disability and they were unsympathetic and see they would sent the correct bill out I will be leaving them at end of my contract and never use them again stay away from these cowboys

Three days with them as a customer - live chat is broken app doesn t work website won t allow me to set up a smart meter booking phone lines jammed when you get through super rude person on the other end Messaged them on social keep getting DM us Done that 5 times and 24 hours later no response In short I wish I d stuck with Bulb Saving 70 a year but the hassle already isn t worth itThis gets worse Call centre staff super rude put me on hold as a way of telling me off Disgusted that they would treat people in they way

They don t know which tariff their company supports

Absolutely dreadful company Eon pestered me for months I changed energy supplier December 2019 to Eon and got Economy 7 tariff After 6 months They gave me a bill 419 which is my yearly payment for electricity use I contacted them and asked for reason after a month I got a call back asking me to go back to previous supplier because their company doesn t support my economy 7 meter why you have Economy 7 tariff if you can t support it and been told they are going to refund my money which I paid 221 50 by direct debit till date I find another supplier because I find the previous one was expensive my reason to change to Eon otherwise no reason to go to a supplier like e on and changed the supplier They sent me final bill 197 54 I sent a complaint and asked why they changed their words again instead of refunding me they asking me pay more Got a call they said I had to go back to previous supplier as they asked me to do so then they will refund me I said you can t put condition to refund me you did a mistake didn t gave me right information You did a mistake to have a contract for something you can t support you can t charge me with High rate day not lower one night and weekend while you done wrong and ask me to go back to previous supplier I have right to choose any supplier I wish They offered 20 but asking me to pay the rest Very disappointed and not reliable company

Vile company As aggressive as loan sharks Always paid bills in full and in advance Then when I had a month I was struggling they threatened me with a CCJ I was horrified When I tried to ring multiple times I got cut off The online chat is worse When I finally got through they told me they couldn t deal with it as it had gone to the legal team Then that I had to send my bank statements to a 3rd party company to say why I couldn t pay I d already said I could pay all in full the next month but they weren t accommodating at ALL If this is how they treat me I dread to think what they do to lower incomes and the elderly Avoid avoid avoid

Money laundering worst energy company I ve dealt with

Worst energy company I ve dealt with Not transparent exorbitant eye watering unit prices double the price of other energy companies because the goverment said it would cover any energy cost increases so hiked up unit prices accordingly when wholesale energy is at a two year low This is money laundering of tax payer money into share holders pockets Can t budget with unit prices up and down by 40p sometimes doubling in a month Customer services is aweful thought it was funny atrocious response to telephone calls Never again twice bitten

Was overcharged 440 spoke to somebody over the phone they had realised mistake and was told they will correct it but few days later they had taken the money anyway from my direct debit so I phoned again was told they will put my back in to my account within 7days but I m still waiting 7 days later No money refund yet

Eon used to be a brilliant companyThey are now hell bent on making us stone cold broke They blame Ukraine etc for the un reasonable hikes which have more than doubled my electric bill I hardly use any electric hardly cook do not have lights on but my direct debit is 108 per month its day light robberythey have had the highest profits for years and because Th e gov capped the bills they are are capped way to high for us who are disabled and need extra showers per daythey have more recently increased there daily charge What they do for that Im not sureThey say on one plan this ais a set price but could go up or dowN well when will they ever go down what I want to know why they say set but really that s variable so may trading standards need to be sent that one as is misleadingI think all the energy companies are hell bent on making us all skint They offer a slightly cheaper plan which is 103 or something a month but I have to have a smart meter I had one they don t work plus my bill increased to double last time someone installed one so won t be having that one I can also not believe when the gov said that the electric was going down I got a letter good news energy is lowering but bad news as I am in debt my standing order will stay the same Robbing thief s the lot of themI would rather not have green energy if its going to make it for me to choose between eating and heating my place well not from a choice I should be given seeing I need extra electric The gov laughing all the way to the bank as they are charging taxes o us this country is just evil to what they are doing Not only that they say all green energy but sorry they will use fossil fuels as they do not have enough green energy to go round I would have to pay for solar power something out price range sio I have to pay more the schemes will only let you have solar panels and insulation if you have a heat pump and I can t ave it as my house is not energy efficient so ams supposed to freeze to death electric companies are supposed to give us grants to help us save money but I have seen nothing with EON they really are a bunch of greedy un caring people I hope they all choke on the massive profiteering they are making on us poorer in society I hope Karma strikes them soon
