Customer service is non existent Emailed over 5 times and no reply Contact number they supplied did not connect Could not charge the car for weeks at home Box and cable was extremely hot and I had concerns of it overheating and catching alight All this was in my emails and still no answer Had to get a new charger fitted project EV Brilliant service The installer took my old charger away so I have no details of it EV box finally contacted 3 weeks later and will not do anything as I can t supply the model and serial number They are a joke

Awful machines bad experience
I bought the charger in 2019 installed it 2020 before even started using it I was told that something was faulty with the software So i got a new one in the post I installed it and started using it at the end of 2020 The charger has been on and off since then ive been in contact with customer care numerous times they have changed the machine almost 6 to 7times but problem is still there The company asked me to call them in Holland but no one is picking the phone kept on being sent to the answering machine I ve called over 20 times without a response This company is a joke I don t even understand how they can be allowed to sell their products

Customer service is appalling
Customer service is appalling the only thing they can say is go to evbox com not willing to listen or actually help In summary 2 charging stations were installed neither of them wanted to register and I have had my car charged elsewhere for 3 weeks now

A non-existing service department The app is not working there is no help from EVBox service department They say will register your case and call you back but that will never happen If you call again it is same procedure If you send a mail no reply will be sent CANNOTrecommend in any way

Bought a charging station from ANWB
Bought a charging station from ANWB with an ANWB card My subscription was transferred to EVBox The EVBox charges became ridiculous Hundreds of Euros admin costs per year for a box that I have bought using electricity I am paying for with an ANWB card I asked for EVBox to make it a public charging station so that I don t have to pay their ever increasing costs Not possible If I want to use the charging station I bought on my drive with my electricity using an ANWB card I HAVE to register and pay their admin costs It is cheaper to buy a new charging station from a different company that doesn t gouge their customers

For an App system -
For a system that relies on information by connecting to an App This system is the worst Their app does not work at all just keeps failing Among a lot of things I need it for seeing invoicing amounts etc It s not possible for the customer to see control and follow if the amounts or invoicing is wrong What kind of trick business is that Support are not helpful art all as many other says nothing happens Charging are working fine on the unit but that all

Won t unlock cable - no helpline
Work installed one After a month of it not being set up correctly I finally managed to charge my car using it I finished charging released the cable from my car but can t release the cable from the charger There is no helpline or customer service so now what I just have to leave my type 2 charger at work for the weekend and hope that someone can fix it on Monday I would write expletives about it but can t

If you want the worst customer service
If you want the worst customer service you have ever had in your life Just contact EVBox and all your wishes will be fulfilled I wrote them on facebook on the 4th of novmeber and they replied today telling me to create a ticket online Which is not possible Horrible experience all the way around I called the hotline and i met another unhelpful individual and i just gave up while talking to him

An awful experience from an awful company
Had our 22Kw in November 2021 all worked well for 11 months it stopped working then started again In November 2022 it stopped working again I contacted the fitting electrician who confirmed that all connections including the Earth were okay We contacted EV box again on at least 20 occasions to date 18 January 2023 our charger still does not work They are now blaming the supplier for not contacting them When I rang EXBox UK you would think that we were asking for state secrets when asking how to make a complaint The lady on reception said they would ring me back guess what I have emailed the CEO hoping for a response we will probably have a long wait In short do not buy an EVBox charger

I ve had 2 EVBox chargers replaced
I ve had 2 EVBox chargers replaced within 3 years I accept things go wrong but when they do it will take months to resolve and when they eventually accept a manufacturer s fault they expect you to wait at least 3 more weeks for a replacement and even then they send a replacement in the post for you for or organise the fitting yourself Come on EVBox I thought you were better than this
