I use expedia all the time to book

I use expedia all the time to book flights hotels and vacations Website and app extremely easy to use and they have great costumer service and a good cancellation policy I ve had one issue upon booking an activity I noticed you had to dress formal and being on vacation my husband didn t have fancy shoes pants or a tie I called immediately to cancel but they couldn t without speaking with the company It was 3 days away so I thought in the morning I would have an answer Nope it took them over a week and by that time the activity came and went got a call after we had returned home with an answer of no sorry we can t give you a refund it was over 100 00 But this was the only time i v been disappointed and the reason for my 4 star review Still hoping for a credit even half but not holding my breath

I have booked quite a few times through

I have booked quite a few times through Expedia and on two occasions have had to make cancellations The most recent involved a trip that was booked and paid for to the island of Dominica in the Caribbean which was sadly demolished by Hurricane Maria We just received a full refund for this leg of the journey quite hassle free This was my experience in the past when cancelling as well Not a hassle and a pretty quick refund with no cancellation charges It did take a few phone calls and some wait time on the phone but the customer service was very courteous I would not hesitate to book through Expedia in future and in fact did a shout out to them on my facebook page

Good for comparing other sites

I use to use expedia ca alll the time but now with so many websites I use it to browse and compare all of the rates Overall expedia s pricing comes out usually number 1 or 2 for cost savings but overall its a great site to compres other prices like otel and other similar expedia ca sites I ve found great package for Las vegas last minute deals

Better late than never

15 November 2020 followed up an Expedia commitment to confirm a credit would be issued for flights originally scheduled for March 2020 as lockdown reared its head Trying to do this in March 2020 was almost impossible and Expedia as thrown into utter chaos Today was much more professional and Expedia staff were able to find the itinerary check with airline policies and provide an Expedia credit in writing for the full amounts While I would have preferred a refund and while the credit must be booked through with Expedia with the original carrier it was better than losing the entire amount The customer service representative was very professional in this instance

With what is happening in the world I wanted to say thank u to expedia for answering all my questions and emails during this trying time in the world I have emailed several times over the past 4 months wondering if my trip was going to be credited or refunded It was credited for a year I was so worried but they really helped me so thank you

I have booked 20 or more hotels through this service it s convenient and easy also prices have been competitive There flights are often over priced or I would have given them 5 stars

I have personally never had an issue

I have personally never had an issue with expedia And I m shocked to see all of the bad reviews Everything I have booked worked fine Hotels and flights I had one flight get cancelled literally at the start of the pandemic and they gave me a refund within 2 weeks even though I hadn t paid extra for a cancelation fee They lose one star due to pricing sometimes Its often not of the cheapest spots to book but sometimes you find cheaper deals here
