Easy to deal with and lots of perks

I highly recommend this company I have booked through them numerous times and have not had a bad experience Changes or cancellations have been handled promptly and easily Easy site to use and easy to get someone on the phone usually in Egypt the times I call Out of the blue I get told I now have Elite Plus status which means I get free upgrades and stuff They keep sending me coupons to use like 150 toward a hotel Their prices are not necessarily the cheapest but they are low and competitive They do use cookies so I keep getting ads related to what I was looking at but that just keeps reminding me of my upcoming vacation This is one of the few companies that I always feel Why can t it always be this easy after dealing with them ING is another

I had the most pleasant experience with Expedia ca - Sam the supervisor

I had the most pleasant experience with Expedia ca today I purchased a flight ticket yesterday and realized my passport was going to expire The ticket was non refundable I spoke with agent and he directed me to his supervisor Sam After Sam going back and forth with the airline agent he was able to have airline refund me 100 instead of a travel voucher with airline that was good for one year I greatly appreciated Sam s assistance in helping me with this situation It was 100 my fault not realizing my passport was to expire As I told Sam my loyalty is with Expedia ca as I book my vacations and hotels always through Expedia ca and not with any particular airline I will continue to use Expedia s service for my travels Thank you

Best travel booking resource available for Canadians Never knew all the features but last year I missed a connection flight to Toronto in Vienna and I was extremely happy to hear that I had without knowing an included insurance for that and instead of paying full price for a flight 1200 I only paid 150 Way to go Expedia For more than 12 years I ve been using Expedia ca and will never use any other site

I ve been reading lots of bad reviews here I am sure all of them are true but I feel like posting my experience too so if someone books through Expedia they don t have a panic attack straight away I booked through them got a really good price and all went smoothly Now looking at all these bad reviews I feel I got really lucky though

Outstanding online customer service

I sincerely don t understand all the negative reviews We booked an hotel through Expedia s app everything is clear and user-friendly in the app We had major problems with our flights and were unable to actually check in at the hotel We had to cancel our whole vacation We had a non-refundable reservation we contacted the hotel through Expedia s app They told us to deal with Expedia for cancellation and refund and that they would issue a refund if possible to Expedia I was hesitant because this is the exact situation where things can complicate with multiple parties involved dealing with online travel agency etc We chatted with an actual agent online two times the first time with no wait time the second time with a 5-minute wait time and both times the agent was able to contact the hotel explain the situation ask for an exception keep in mind the booking was non-refundable and issue a refund On top of that there is no additional fees so the refund is exactly the price we paid for initially The whole process took less than 24 hours and I think Expedia really takes its travel agent role seriously and works for its customers It s like dealing with an actual storefront travel agency I highly recommend Expedia and their app their customer service will actually answer you in a timely manner through chat service on their website and will actually work for you if there is a problem

COVID-19 - cancel hotel

My Hawaii vacation plans changed due to COVID-19 Had to cancel hotel and can t do it trough website Called to customer support and they were able to help me even in those extraordinary times Kudos to them that they handle all the volumes in those times Thanks to Michael from customer support

Sara gave great customer service

Sara gave great customer service I had a vacation booked for July The airline just changed our flights which do not work for my job so I phoned the customer service number and within 1 2 an hour the company gave a total refund I am very pleased with their response to covid-19 Will use this company again Dave

Very Positive Experience with Virtual Assistance

I actually had an incredibly positive experience with the virtual agent Habiba who was able to help cancel a booking for me during a very difficult time They went above and beyond walked me through every step and things were completed within minutes This was a much better experience than trying to call I strongly recommend their online virtual assistance
