Points Card will Cost you More than you Gain
I got the TD First Class credit card to collect points and book using Expedia but I have since lost more money than I saved I bought insurance for one flight in case of cancelation or flight change while I was pregnant but then when we had to change our flight we were told the policy we were encourage to pay extra for would not cover my pregnancy and then lost money on that flight Then we had to change another flight some time later due to visa issues and we were given a 1000 flight credit for our cancelation Now I m trying to use that flight credit their charging me almost double the fare price I found on their own TD Expedia web page to use my credit This way if I buy the ticket on my own it s a little over 600 but if I use my flight credit it will cost over 900 and I ll need pay extra Make it make sense Do yourself a favour and use Skyscanner or purchase directly or with an agent Anything but Expedia Their customer service and policies have been hell to deal with

Name change not resolved
I purchased 3 tickets and noticed my name was short and not full name - Very Long story short I ended up paying 600 more for another ticket because no one at the customer service were able to do a name change I am flying today and sitting separate from the family and I cannot check in because they did not cancel my incorrect ticket so now I have two tickets on my name and have to go to the airport and hopefully resolve and make my flight to UK

I would have given them 0 stars if possible False advertising is what happened Please be careful while booking They will advertise something else and then charge u for something else with some terms embedded right at the bottom of the booking I booked a reserve now and pay later Hotel They charged me for it and later said that its final sale with no refund I do not understand how that works Be very careful There policies do not apply in case of refund They will lure u into false advertising and then bam U r screwed

If there was a 0 rating I would give it Expedia charged us over 4200 for flights home from San Diego to Ottawa 3 leg flight The first leg got us to Washington then when we arrived at our next gate we were told our tickets for the next 2 legs were canceled one hour prior to boarding as the airline never received payment from Expedia The flights were booked and charged to the card 14 days prior with confirmation from the credit card as well the airline confirmed the first leg was paid Expedia customer service would do nothing to help get my family of 5 home get us a hotel nothing The agent repeatedly cut me off and offered no assistance By the third call I was offered a minimal partial refund - which they have now pushed onto the first airline and we may or may not get We are now out of pocket several thousand dollars for last minute flights home the next day hotel stay overpriced airport meals and lost wages

Fake Credit for cancelled flight
a flight was canceled and I was given a Credit to use within a year 773 but when I went to use the credit I had to call in to Expedia to use it and the price of the flights with Virgin were 2000 meaning that I would have to pay a difference of 1227 I was able to book the same flights on a different site for 1063 I would pay out more just to use the credit They have basically stolen my money Beware of Expedia Credits are not real and they are not interested in making things right

Worst experience with customer service and cancellation When called they said they can not cancel my flight only airlines holds this position All of my money got wasted Please do not use this to make any booking doesnot matter how inexpensive it sounds

We booked Hotel flight through Expedia
We booked Hotel flight through Expedia Our departure from Toronto to Cancun was scheduled on February 11 2024 at 8 50 am but with over 5 hours delay it was changed to 02 00 pm As a result we actually lost one day stay at Cancun I called Expedia and asked them for compensation but they did not take any responsibility In reality they get commission from airlines and hotels without having any responsibility about flight and hotel

Book a car rental thru Expedia for the quoted price of 723 Flew in picked up vehicle but upon return the price charged was 113 more for prime location they told me Talked to Expedia and there s nothing they can do So don t rely on your quote cause it might not be the price you pay Never ever Expedia again They can t respect or enforce the price given What s the point
