Been trying to cancel for a few weeks now was promised I wouldn t be charged anymore and woke up to being charged once again got some random person messaging me now asking for document upload after I ve been communicating with Carmelo for weeks now don t listen to your requests and will keep charging you even if you ask them to stop

The money I been spending hasn t be reported to the credit bureausIf you offered to report all the expenses I made using your card and I see no reports in the bureaus then is no reason to keep this account open I don t need to discuss farther on this matter because that is what you initially offered

We opened this card to boost our credit rating The card was hacked during Christmas We reported the fraudulent charges immediately and closed the card Extra reported us for not paying and our credit score fell significantly We called Customer Service multiple times and no one seemed to know what was going on or what to do We have been unable to talk to anyone at Extra who can help us

I have had nothing but problems and should ve never done this Every time my card has been connected it disconnects and I m constantly getting messages twice I have gone to support where they have fix the problem and right after that it doesn t work again the problem is if I try and cancel this crappy account they re going to report to my credit that I closed the account You open this account to help your credit and it ends up screwing you in the end

It took me over 2 months to get my card Card gets declined at random places even with more than enough money in my account App has so many glitches and issues the representatives barely seem to understand what s going on or why their system isn t working The cash back points system is also terrible in order to get rewards from their store you have to spend even more money to get the products shipped so it s pointless

I read the fine print for the card and there is no way that poor people can build credit with this card as there is an annual fee of 150 to 200 a year This may not seem like a lot but when you are poor it adds up quickly and credit score will drop rather quickly as the fees add up I d rather go with a Debit card from the bank and be done with all of this credit building nonsense besides you cannot save money with these cards because the cost of living is rising and can result in being homeless or not having electricity for your household This is just another way to demolish your credit which means no money to buy houses cars etc By the way PNC came out with cashback rewards cards of their own without hidden fees Because of this I will not consider using this card when I open my Bank Account with PNC I do not trust this company for building credit as it actually leads to more debt and card deactivations

Cancelled my account Received an email confirming my cancel request Afterwards they presented a charge of 20 to my bank as an ACH transaction three times Because I wasn t using this bank account at the time the money wasn t there and it cost me 30 in nsf fees each time they tried to get 20 Then this month they snagged 20 for membership fees again Word to the wise is make sure you are very clear when and if you cancel your membership

I joined in July and now it s November and my FICO is way up but Extra is not listed as one of my accounts I recognize the 7 accounts that are there And you will never get a live person on that phone number listed on the card

I tried them out for 2 years straight my credit never moved on their behalf When I inquired and questioned about this I was told to use the card more I used the card for multiple transactions and even started paying bills with it Would have to frequently deal with double charges cause bills wouldn t get their money from them on time so they d either charge their card again or they d charge my bank card as the backup on file Still never saw even a 1 point credit boost from them in the entire 2 years You re paying them for headache at the end of the day They tell you transactions takes 3 business days to clear but it doesn t it takes anywhere for 7-10 business days for their transactions to go through So there will be a 1-2 week delay with anything you decide to use the card for and sometimes for whatever reason the app randomly will unlink your bank and the charges get kicked back or rejected because of that They ll allow companies to do whatever they want with your card information and will never flag for multiple transactions Even when the company refunds the other double transaction extra kicks the refund directly to your bank account but they still want you to pay them that money Your refund for a double charge is what they want They will not help you if something goes wrong If you try to cancel they ll hassle you about that and drag that on as well They are a joke I m convinced half of these reviews are paid reviews DO NOT RECOMMEND

very bad customer service do not resolve 1 problem for in 2 months you have to wait 3 to 4 days to get one response they debit my bank account twice but did not refund extra money to my account finely i gave up and ask to close my membership
