I liked when the company had better

I liked when the company had better selections on rewards from the points you receive for using the card You used to be able to redeem points for gift cards that option was taken away The new option choices are terrible and garbage items

Overall

Overall the card service does exactly what is advertised and I have received a nice increase to my credit score I would give 5 stars but since you have taken-away the gift cards from the rewards section I have been very disappointed Kinda has that bait switch feel to it That was the main reason why I upgraded my membership to get points was in an effort to earn the gift cards I finally earn enough points to get a few gift cards and poof they re gone without notice The items that are available through the points exchange are shall we say less than desirable Bring back the gift cards - as you had initially advertised

Account balance verification

Extra states that it performs account checks 3x a day but it doesn t happen It would be nice if it was just a continuous action where it would take into account when you added more money to the linked account to increase the spending allowance

I haven t been able to use it really yet But the customer service is awesome They are really quick at getting back with you in the chat

An embarrassing moment when I had funds

An embarrassing moment when I had funds in my account but extra did not allow the funds to be used I had to fumble around looking for my other bank card that I had Extra linked to This happened several times So I stopped using extra until it caught up with my bank balances

MOSTLY SATISFACTORY EXCEPT EVERYTIME YOU DO A SOFTWARE UPGRADE MY ANDROID PHONE EXTRA APP GETS DISCONNECTED FROM MY BANK THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED IT TOOK 13 DAYS TO GET RECONNECTED AND YOUR MANAGEMENT PEOPLE REFUSED TO EXTEND MY MEMBERSHIP TO MAKE UP FOR THE DOWNTIME I SUFFERED

Might not renew membership

I m considering not renewing my membership since they removed the gift card options from rewards I m sitting on over 250k points and am not interested in a single reward option When I initially joined Extra the gift card rewards were a big factor Now that they are gone I don t see the point in choosing Extra over other options out there

The credit tracking is almost worth

The credit tracking is almost worth keeping my account but it bothers me that the point rewards are lacking Gift cards need to to be offered as items available to be redeemed with reward points The fact that that option is missing has me looking for another option I may close my account because your reward catalog is useless to me

I am a little disappointed

I am a little disappointed that right after I started using my EXTRA card the gift cards category in the rewards section disappeared The ability to earn gift cards with points was a major selling point to me I m also still trying to convince myself that the small amount of influence over my credit scores are actually worth the fees I m paying to have the card The jury is still out

I hate that the customer services care

I hate that the customer services care is not really good it takes long to get to customer but on the other side I like the card and the service
