Being Scammed to Upgrade Plan by Fax Plus

My wife and I have purchased a year of basic service from Fax Plus to send a few faxes but for the last 8-months we never needed to send nor receive any faxes Now we got several emails from Fax Plus suggesting that we upgrade from their Basic to Premier service because multiple people are attempting to send us a fax at the same time and their basic plan does not allow this I contacted their customer service and they confirmed that the email was legitimately sent by them THIS IS A SCAM to get more money out of me

One day after renewal date

I decided to cancel one day after my renewal My renewal falls on the 27th of the month and not the first of the month I contacted them on the 28th and told them that I just canceled it and to please refund my money for this coming month They refused That s just plain old bad customer service I guess they don t care because I m no longer a customer so their attitude is screw him Well my attitude is screw them and I m going to write them nasty reviews every place I can The problem with this country is customers don t come first anymore There s no such thing as customer service

Works OK as a fax but beware the scam

Works OK as a fax but beware of the scam They get you to sign up for automatic renewal and a year later they simply take the money from your account with no notification Of course I went back and asked to cancel the account and refund my payment FAX PLUS refused to do this as they are legally entitled to collect the money under my original instruction This may not be illegal but it is certainly awful customer service Avoid unless you are 100 sure you want to pay next year as well

AVOID These guys are simply AWFUL

Company is a scam company They took the liberty of re-newing my service without my permission and charging me double I asked for a refund and they essentially reject that they had to refund me but were happy to cancel my service all the same This company is not trustworthy and should be avoided Plenty of less unconscionable companies around AVOID In Response To Fax Plus At no point during the checkout process did I agree to automatic renewal nor was it made clear that the plan would auto-renew Your business practices are sketchy and your customer service is atrocious Terrible company would never do business again with you absolutely pathetic the way you guys conduct yourself If you re reading this you ve been warned

I have not received a fax from a sender

Dear Sir Madam I am writing to inform you that I have not received a fax from a sender through your service and I am disappointed with the level of service I have received I have checked my Faxplus account and there is no record of any incoming fax from the sender Please investigate this matter and provide me with an explanation as soon as possible I would appreciate it if you could take the necessary steps to ensure that this does not happen again in the future Thank you for your attention to this matter Sincerely

These people are scammers

These people are scammers they intentionally mislead you into thinking you have to buy credits separately making you think it s a single transaction because after all they didn t charge your card directly After they ad on a contract you never get the chance to agree to and begin fraudulently billing your card there s a reason they have comments disabled on their YouTube videos because of all the people who have been defrauded They steal your money and then smugly inform you they won t be returning it with the absolute worst and most antagonizing customer diservice I have ever experienced They had me cussing by third email and I never do that but they were just so rude it was unreal My charge-back says otherwise D They re based in Switzerland for a reason Avoid at all costs

Terrible company

Terrible company I tried signing up for fax plan basic but it directed me to premium They took payment of 11 monthly so they only offer a 24 hour cooling off period When you try to log in to your account it is a nightmare to cancel Just sent 2 requests to cancel this plan but I have a strong feeling I will not see my 11 refunded Beware this company seem to set a website that dies not guide you to pay for basic monthly membership be very careful what you sign up for

There s no way to delete your phone

There s no way to delete your phone number or credit card They refuse to let me cancel and delete my account Anyone else interested in looking into a class action suit I m going to have to cancel my credit card becuase of these scammers

Unscrupulous - Choose a different provider

Another one of these for this company They automatically keep your credit card details and put you on annual renewals No warning that there is a renewal coming at all They play on this ability to gouge more money from their clients

DO NOT USE FaxPlus by Alohi

DO NOT USE FaxPlus by Alohi WIthout notice FaxPlus doubled the cost of their service from 179 year to over 330 year When I went in to cancel the service I was informed that my account would remain active for the remainder of the contract even though it had 364 days remaining Worse I cannot change or delete my form of payment meaning that they have a credit card on file that I cannot get rid of Worst User and Customer Experience I have ever had
