Poor Service

We ordered 17 rolls of underlay for a confirmed delivery date as our usual supplier could not provide the turn around time we required for a set of jobs On the delivery date only 4 rolls of underlay were delivered with no explanation of why the other 13 rolls had not been delivered We then had to chase the company over the next 7 days in order to chase up the delivery of the remaining rolls which meant a 7 day delay on our projects No good will gesture or apology received up to this point

The delivery was dropped off at the Made to feel like I was in the wrong for Flooring Kings poor service

The delivery was dropped off at the wrong address When I called to ask where it was I was treated like I was in the wrong as there was a photograph on file where it had been delivered to which was not my property The sales advisor who answered the phone to me was rude and dismissive of my complaint I discovered were it was myself and arranged for the homeowner to deliver it to me at my expense Very poor after sales considering that I have ordered from Flooring King many times

Sent out of date screed

Ordered 16 bags of screed and 9 of them were out of date as it was the Friday before bank Holiday weekend they couldn t collect until the Tuesday with nowhere to store the screed for the full weekend I was liable for anything that went missing meaning I had to do a 2 hour trip to drop them back to there unit A mistake on there part became my problem to sort

Extremely poor delivery experience

Unfortunately the delivery experience was extremely poor I received a text on my agreed delivery date confirming delivery between 7am and 5pm Having waited in all day I called to double check at 4 30pm and was told that it would be with me within the next hour It failed to turn up I called again the following day and there was no explanation as to why it didn t arrive It eventually came in the afternoon 4 packs of laminate flooring were then delivered on a large wooden pallet which I was left with The delivery driver would not take the pallet back on the van and living in a flat with no place to store the pallet I then had the hassle of having to saw the pallet into pieces so I could fit into the car to dispose of At a hefty 50 delivery cost the company need to employ a more reliable courier firm and reconsider the choice of a pallet for delivering a relatively small order

Would not use again

Placed an order and they refused to deliver stating that they don t deliver in that area as stated within their terms and conditions which it is not Lost 5 days on my build due to delivery from another provider Would not recommend and will certainly not be using again

Text stating my order was out for delivery to get a call then saying its not on the lorry The next day same thing happen again but this time stating its damaged so not going to be delivered

Not so the KING with their price match promise

Tried using their price match promise and met all the necessary requirements but then was told they only price match baskets not products even though the web site cleary states products So I gave them my full basket only to be told that they couldn t price match on this occasion

Whilst the product was delivered on

Whilst the product was delivered on time it came on a pallet which I had to dispose of at the nearly recycling centre I also enquired about changing the underlay to match my original underlay but this was going to cost me more than the underlay itself as I could not use my own carrier Very disappointing aftersales service having spent 540 on a single order

Was informed they had delivered turns out only part of the order was delivered to their warehouse not to my home Still waiting for a new delivery date

If you value your time don t waste it

If you value your time don t waste it with this company I lost 2 days of my holiday as they keep changing delivery times Unfortunately they haven t even informed me about the issue with delivery I needed to call them everyday to find out what s happened and being told different stories by customers service As much as that shop has a good prices they should work to make customer service and delivery part better
